Since discovering Andrews in 1993, after 12-15 visits and our fifth set of owners, we still wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else.
Andrews is very small (only 6 rooms at the Inn itself) with a small pool set on a wooden deck surrounded by a garden and with a Continental breakfast served around the pool each morning and a cocktail hour each afternoon. Small rooms, one overlooking the Hemingway House next door.
And , of course, the requisite cats. Nothing fancy at all, but a quiet respite from the madness of Duval Street, just a short stroll down a gravel lane away.
It must be the late Andrew Cleveland's spirit that pervades this place, because there is something very special in the atmosphere here. It seems to attract friendly, primarily low key couples, both straight and gay, and really captures the spirit that makes Key West, well, Key West!
Pros: Great location, quiet
Cons: , not good for kids
