The three of us liked the Andrews Diner though we could only go there one night a week-we eat out abot 4 nights a week. The propietess talked about penis size, stood on my friends chair while he was away from the table in order for her to put up the blinds which I offered to do, and when I spoke to the two others asking what they were going to have the lady owner of the restaurant said that we were together too long, if I am asking what to eat. The portions are small or spread thinly on a large plate, and the prices are more expensive then they need to be to have stupid comments attached to a dinner. Her poor husband seems beaten down. more

I have tried eggs benedict at many places, none are even half as good as Andrews Dinner! Best ones ever! Plus service is GREAT! more

had the pork chop special. a thin piece of chop that was mostly bone was delivered, apparently no quality control in the kitchen. Owner/hostess is rude to customers with her written/unwritten rules. Yelling at customers, including me, TWICE in as many visits. Decor in the place is dreary and old. With poor food quality, and rude owner, I won't bother going back. more

The hostess/owner Jeri goes out of her way to insult her customers. After two dining experiences in this restaurant, I will never go back. The staff love Angelo, but none of them held Jeri in the same regard. I was served a pork chop that had more bone than meat. Lousy food and an aggressively rude owner who "gets off" on insulting her customers. Why bother?? more

The hostess/owner is rude to customers. After two dining experiences in this restaurant, I will never go back. pork chop that had more bone than meat. No quality control in the kitchen if they sent out a bony chop. Along with the rude comments by owner to customers, its not a dining experience I would recommended. more

My wife and I have been to a lot of breakfast spots in Ft. Lauderdale. Andrews Diner is one of the best. The pancakes are awesome. The bacon is great. My wife loves the eggs benedict. The service is excellent. more

Sundays are best when you can roll into this diner in your sweats and order a full platter of french toast, bacon, home fries and a coffee and a large orange juice. This is as close to a neighborhood diner as you can get in SoFL. Staff is always very friendly and food is prompt. more

I stop here every time I am in FL. Love the place. Love the food. Love the salty owner, named Jeri. Affordable, clean, fast and fun. What more can you ask for? more

Awesome diner...Angelo and Jeri have really brought the New York diner to South Florida...the wait staff is the best and yes, Jeri is entertaining...believe me if you are a regular, you will love to hear what Jeri has to say! more

Good food, reasonable price. Owned by Angelo and Jeri. Angelo is a great guy; Jeri is like the Soup Nazi - expect to be insulted and offended if she is working. more

Fantasic Food at an unbelieveable price 3/13/2006

I stopped here once, while on tour and couldn't believe the service, quality and price of this little Mom and Pop joint. The restaurant is brimming with personality and all the local regulars were very friendly. Outstanding burger! Split a piece of Spanikopita with a friend (the chef is Greek, I had to) and I was in heaven. If you can go, do go. You won't be sorry. Pros: Fantastic Food, Inexpensive, Extremely Clean Cons: Crowded more
