Andre's Steak House

Excellent Restaurant. It is an exact model of Peter Lugar's steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY. In fact I mentioned this to our waiter, and he informed me that the owner worked at Lugars in NY for 9 years and moved here to open a similar style restaurant. Andre's is a steakhouse lacking in many ways. My wife had a salad which was field greens instead it was bad lettuce I wouldn't feed a starving rabbit. The siganture salad I had was average except the bacon in the salad consisted of a lot of fatty pieces. It also could have used more lettuce. There were no appetizers which interested us. The steak was different. We ordered a steak for 2 which was a porterhouse. The steak was not cooked correctly and at Andre's they like to take the meat off of the bone and slice it up for you. One would think the steak would be prepared correctly if they did it that way. Also the steak had a great meat taste to it, but if you are like my wife. There was no special or unique flavor.
