While this beautiful restaurant is found in a perfect location, perched high atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, it?s here where we experienced the worst treatment we?ve ever received in any restaurant! Over Valentines dinner our two entrees, lobster and steak, were delivered to us cold, not warm, but cold. As soon as our waitress returned, about 10 minutes, we registered a complaint. After 30 minutes she returned again and informed us Chef Andre would do nothing but offer us a round of drinks. All we wanted was warm food. After another 15 minute wait, we were informed by our waitress and the hostess that they had no authority and when we asked to speak to the owner or someone who did we were never given the opportunity, they just let us sit there. When the hostess returned, after another 10 minute wait, she told us they would credit our bill for the steak, $38.95, but would do nothing for the cold lobster. Here?s the best part?when they presented us with the bill we were told we would have to pay the full bill, even though the staff had removed our plates, even though they had told us they would credit the cost of the steak. Great way to treat your customers! We paid the $140+ bill in full, we will never go back and we will tell everyone we can about our poor treatment
