Andree Robere Salon & Day Spa

I went to Andre Robere for the first time, it was easy to find, the parking lot was mostly full and I had to park a little far away but once I got inside it was wonderful! The girls up front were so friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, someone even got me coffee! My hairdresser looked young and hip but she did exactly what I wanted and helped me learn how to blowdry my hair so I could do it at home, and even gave me a sample of shampoo. The waxer I saw was nice and made sure she got every stray hair and walked me back to the desk, which was nice because it is a big salon. I have found my match!!! 35 years of looking I have found hairdresser and colorist!!!! Kerry Hamm is absolutly fantastic.. wow is she FAST... I cant believe how quick she got me in and out, top quality work and has cut on tv camera!! shes so fun and has tons of experience I 100% trust her!! Iam loving my color for once in my life Iam not brassy!!!!! And my highlights were perfect.. Cuts are fabulous I love watching her cut she is amazing!! VERY Talented!!!! Go see Kerry!!! I have been going to Andree Robere for probably about 4 years now. I have never had a problem, and I can't believe all of the negative reviews. Generally I go for eyebrow waxing. I have been to Kristen, Bobbi, and Allison, and they have all been fabulous. I have found the rooms to be clean, and the staff to be friendly. There are some wax stains on the sheets, but they look clean (just spots that probably didn't come out in the wash). I had a massage once, and it was probably one of the best massages I ever had. The masseuse was very professional, friendly and effective. I have never had my hair done, or had a mani/pedi. Pros: Expert waxers Cons: None that I have found more

I had been getting facials at another local spa and wanted to try something new. My estheticians name was Allison and she gave me the best facial I've ever had. My face felt so clean afterward and she gave me advice on how to treat my skin at home. Of course she did sell me some products, but I'm glad I made the purchase because they are wonderful. She also gave me a terrific brow wax. I found the atmosphere of the facial room to be very clean and relaxing. Looking forward to going back! Pros: Loved Everything more

I just had a color, cut and wax there last week. People have to told me to go there before and i finally went. Mind you ive been seeing a stylist in Newton for years now. SO i had a color with Victoria and cut with Paula. The color was ok, considering my hair is brown and I just wanted my grays covered, you dont have to be a genius to figure that out. \r \r Then I had a cut with Paula, who was so unpolite and so behind. I must have sat at the sink with a soaking wet head and soaking shirt from the girl that washed me, for like half an hour waiting for her. And I could see her cutting someone else. My cut is terrible, so choppy and old lady like, worst part is, i walked out of there looking like the old lady who was before me. My wax was ok, Ive had better but that lady, Bobby, didnt say a word to me and the room was so dirty. There was wax everywhere, even on the sheets, walls, it was so nasty, ive never seen anything like it. \r \r So then the kicker is I go up to the desk and check out, the girl tells me its 134, and then Paula comes up and wispers something to her and she says sorry, its actually 144!!!!!\r \r Are you kidding me, how rude!!!! So I get charged more that what she usually charges. 70 dollars for this cut, I was digusted. I've had the displeasure of going to Andree Robere several times because my husband kept getting me gift cards (I've since learned to speak up!) I've had hair cuts, highlights, manicures, facials and massages there. I cannot recommend them for anything. While some services are better than others, I've never had a good experience getting my hair done, even though I've been very specific with my requests - it's either been chopped too short, they've cut bangs that I've been working to grow out, or my hair has been ""highlighted"" all over to an unnatural brassy shade (my hair is dark brown). I also went in specifically for highlighting since I was pregnant, and after the stylist messed up she had to apply hair color (not recommended by my doctor during pregnancy) to salvage my hair. Absolutely do not go here. more

This salon is a disgrace. The receptionists dont pay attention to you, the mess up all of the appointments and it is so dirty. Dont have a wax there, thats for sure, or a pedicure. The wax rooms have wax all over the sheets, and u can see others peoples hair all over the wax bucket. The pedicure chairs are from like 1970, and they smell and never look clean. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. more

I really enjoyed my day at Andree Roberes, everyone was very friendly, the service was great, I found the place to be very clean, and relaxing. I had my hair cut by a lovely young lady Misty who did a fantasic hair cut and color and I had the most wonderful facial by Bobby. I will refer all my friends to the salon and &spa.\r Thanks for a most enjoyable day, can't wait till my next appointment. more
