I heard about Andover College Prep from 3 of my classmates who have also done Andover and said it helped them a lot. I went up 370 points! Everything tough to you is extremely helpful and it's taught to you in a fun way which allows you to actually learn what's being taught rather than sit there and pretend like your listening while off on another tangent due to the boredom.\r I recommend Andover College Prep to anyone who is interested in getting a good score on the SAT. It's very helpful and fun and you learn a lot of strategies that will improve your scores guaranteed. more

I recently had my son take the Andover course in New Canaan.He was in the class with 2 other of his friends from Darien High School. We attended all but one class. All (3) of the boys received below average scores on their SAT's. My son took his twice, same results. I phoned Andover and their only option was to repeat the course, but this time drive 15 miles to Westport at 6 pm or do tutoring at $175 an hour w a small discount. My son would not go back. The instructor was very nice but I feel their way of teaching is extremely weak. One of the boys went to another learning center and increased his score by 400, that is our next route. I strongly do not recommend this course... Pros: Nice Instructor Cons: Waste of money, not effective more
