Need a new OB/GYN? Make an appointment with a Tepeyac docotr 3/17/2012

My previous 2 other OB/GYNs were okay, and when compared to a Tepeyac doctor, what a difference! The doctor did not rush me - I was treated with care and and my questions were answered. In the other practices, I was a number to them and the quicker they could move on from me, the better. The assistant at Tepeyac was welcoming. I had some followup blood work, and my results were thoroughly communicated. more

Highly Recommend the Practice 3/6/2012

As a new patient to Tepeyac, I was welcomed cheerfully. My questions regarding my insurance were accurately communicated. As with other OB/GYN offices, the doctor was a bit behind, and the slight wait time was reasonable. The doctor (there are 5: Anderson, Bruchalski, Fisk, Cvetkovich and Pereira) listened to my health concerns and provided clear explanations. I will return to this practice and recommend the practice considering a change in their current OB/GYN. Thank you Tepeyac! more

Highly Recommend! 5/16/2011

I love this practice! From the minute I walked in the door we felt special. They delivered my son in 2008 and did a great job! I had a special case and they were very helpful in finding a specialist I needed for after the delivery. more

Doctor's and Staff That Care 3/3/2010

I have been a patient there since 2001. The staff is always helpful and joyful. They truly care about me as a person not just another appointment. The only thing is that there can be a little of a wait in the waiting room- but it is definitely worth it. more

Joyless/Intolerant 1/6/2010

Good: The Dr. was fine, but..... Bad: The receptionist with the self-rightous, "mother superior" attitude has to go. Perhaps the most important responsibility a receptionist has in a doctor's office is to create an open, welcoming, friendly environment. I traveled nearly an hour to support the Tepeyac Center. I will not do so again. Not only was thr receptionist snotty, but while waiting in the exan room, a woman ranted disparangely, over the phone, about other faiths, specifically the Jewish faith, imposing on HER Missiah,s space. Ugh p. Improvements: Stop the negativity. Behave as Christians. Stop the self-rightousness towards your clients. try the BE-attitudes, not the We.re RIGHT and kiss my butt attitude. There seemed to be an unwelcoming coldness pervading most the workers. There was no joy there.. Other: I've born and raised several children. Therefore, I've had the privilege to know what other doctor's offices are like, in fact I worked for a doctor's office. There was no one in this office, and no need for being rude, or intolerant., ever!. more

Not So Christian/Unprofessional Receptionist 1/5/2010

Perhaps the most important responsibility the doctor tor's office Receptionist has is creating a welcoming environment while greeting the patient. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at the Tepeyac Family Center. I was greeted by a gal who was snotty,self-rightous, and full of attitude. I was 15 minutes early for my first appointment, but she made a snide remark to me that I should have arrived earlier to fill out papers. No one told me that I should arrive 30 minutes prior and 15 minutes was enough time for me. She pretended as if she could not find my appointment, so I suggested that I should leave or reschedule. Suddenly she found my appointment. There was no other clients in this office at the time. 2. I was sent to an exam room at my appointed time to wait for the doctor. While waiting, with door open, I heard a woman in the back office ranting about other religions imposing themselves on HER Missiah's Christmas. It was an ugly, loud, ranting and disparageing of other faiths, especially the Jews. (Jesus's relatives I might add. It was the most self-rightous, unchristian atmosphere I have ever encountered. I drove almost an hour to go to this pro-life center. I will not do so again. I will stick to my neighborhood motley crew, "All About Women" . At least they are not hypocrits. more

Christian OB/GYN group practice 7/27/2006

I delivered my baby boy in Jan of 2006 with this practice. They were great. James was face up and they had to turn him. It is a group practice with both women and men doctors. They also have one doctor who does just gyn and not ob work. It is a Christian practice and does not give out RX for birth control. I had a miscarriage the Feb before and they were very supportive in dealing with my fears during my pregnancy with James. more
