Welcome! My name is Dr. Danene Mercill. I am a native of California. I was born in southern California and my parents moved to Hayfork when I was a teenager. I moved back to southern California for college and graduated with a BS degree in nursing. After practicing coronary care nursing for about three years, I returned to school to become a dentist and earned my DDS degree from Loma Linda University. The University's motto is “To Make Man Whole”. This motto has been an inspiration to my dental career. I believe in consideration of the “Whole” patient instead of just looking at teeth! I love dentistry and believe in staying current with education to provide quality care with the current technologies. I received my fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Other affiliations are the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Northern California Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. My practice in Anderson is dedicated to excellence with a caring attitude. My staff and I look forward to treating your dental needs. I am married to my wonderful husband Danny Casey M.D., a radiologist in Red Bluff. We have four children. While not working I enjoy activities at my church, biking, golfing, snow skiing and boating on Lake Shasta.
