For the last 10 years I have been embarrassed of my varicose veins, hiding my legs under jeans on a 95 degree summer day. I had the cool laser therapy to remedy the valve problem...

I have been receiving Botox around my eyes and forehead at Anderson Cosmetic and Vein for the past 18 mos. Karen Whitney is absolutley amazing! She has a gift of analyzing your face and performing the procedure to bring out the best in you. I just recently had Juvederm Injectable Gel placed in the lines around my mouth. Wow! Having the Botox and Juvederm procedures have completely changed my attitude toward aging. Karen does a wonderful job virtually pain free. more

After 5 visits in the past year to vascular specialists, podiatrists and a dermatologist for a small recurring vascular ulcer, my husband found Dr. Russell to be sincerely interested in finding the source of the problem. After several ultrasounds, he determined the likely source, and last week performed a deep vein ablation. The laser procedure was practically painless as was the post recovery period. The staff could not be more caring, efficient, and thorough in their teaching and support, even allowing me (a former nurse) to be in the room to observe the procedure. more

I can wear shorts this summer! 4/26/2012

For the last 10 years I have been embarrassed of my varicose veins, hiding my legs under jeans on a 95 degree summer day. I had the cool laser therapy to remedy the valve problem causing my varicose veins. If I had known how simple it was, I would have done it WAY sooner. I can't wait to wear shorts and skirts! Karen Whitney is so very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I was nervous about having the sclerotherapy. Karen's peaceful and calming manner was comforting during the treatments. I love the way my legs look!! The difference is unbelievable, I wish I had done this years ago!! I am sooo thrilled with my new legs! My spider veins had gotten so bad over the last couple of years ... so when I turned 60 last summer, I decided it was time for some maintenance. It's the first cosmetic procedure (sclerotherapy) I've ever had done and I wish I had done it sooner. It's the best money I've ever spent! My husband, family and friends can't believe how much better my legs look. I feel so much younger and confident wearing a bathing suit, shorts and short dresses. I am so pleased with Anderson Cosmetic & Vein Institute! Dr. Karen Whitney has the best bedside manner and her staff is very professional & welcoming. I never had to wait for an appointment more than 5 mins. I had a consultation prior to my sclerotherapy treatment and appreciated receiving my cost in writing to help with my decision. Dr. Karen answered all my questions and is very skilled in what she does. She and her staff go above and beyond to be helpful. I have noticed a major improvement within my skin and the staff is extrememly welcoming and friendly. I come to Anderson Cosmetics and Vein Institute for my skin care. I have received microdermabrasion, chemical peels, botox and Juvederm/Restylin fillers. It is very easy to get an appointment that fits into your schedule and they are very accommodating. Angela is great and is very honest about what she recommends for your skin care needs. I was really afraid to have surgery but all of the staff made sure I was totally comfortable with the procedure and answered any questions that I had. Great Patient Treatment! 2/9/2011

I have really enjoyed my experience going to Anderson Cosmetic and Vein Inst.! I called around to several cosmetic places in the Cinci area before I picked them...and let me tell you, what a difference. From the initial phone call, the free consultation, to the follow-up appointments they have been amazing! I have been a patient of Karen's for a couple of months now and she has always taken the time to talk to me and assess my INDIVIDUAL patient needs. To be honest I was super nervous the first time I went in, because I had never been to a cosmetic place before, and was not sure I wanted to go at all. But, the professionalism was amazing, and they made me feel right at home. I would really recommend stopping in here before you choose anywhere else for your cosmetic needs!! more

Excellent Doctor, Excellent Results!!! 2/7/2011

I HIGHLY recommend Anderson Cosmetic and Vein Center. I had gone to a clinic that specialized in vein treatments in 2010 and after 3 months of almost weekly treatments I had numbness in the entire calf of my right leg and more spider veins than I had when I started the treatments. I was very discouraged when I went to see Karen Whitney, but after one treatment I saw amazing results. Her kindness, honesty and professionalism have restored my confidence. I am looking forward to summer for the first time in years. I only wish I had gone to her last year instead of the vein clinic. Not only did I get excellent results, the cost is SIGNIFICANTLY less than I was charged at the vein clinic. more

The ONLY place for Sclerotherapy 12/13/2010

I have been struggling with spider veins I think since I was fifteen! I felt that my extreme case was beyond treatment after visiting a well known local doctor that specializes in Sclerotherapy. I had had several treatments and really couldn't see ANY difference! It wasn't until I began seeing Dr. Karen Whitney that I regained hope! She REALLY changed my life! I have been wearing skirts, dresses and swimwear for the first time in years! I no longer DREAD the summer months as I used to...pretending I was comfortable wearing jeans and pants in the hot weather! My results are amazing! The difference that these treatments have made for my life is PRICELESS! more

Great Experience 11/22/2010

I had a great experience at Anderson Cosmetic and Vein Institute. The staff is very professional. They are extremely friendly and competent. During my vein surgery, they walked me through everything that happened, which alleviated much of my nervousness. I couldn't believe how efficient they were! I felt great after surgery and was able to go shopping immediately. My legs look much better already. It was all so simple. It makes me wonder why I didn't do it years ago! more
