Anctil Plumbing Inc

Just called Anctil Plumbing about a leak in my backyard faucet. They repiped it 3 years ago. Told me the warranty is expired, but they'd fix it for a price. Personally, I think they should stand by their work and comp me a minor repair. After all it was their work and I paid thousands already. more

I needed one nut removed so I could continue installing my sink. The dispatcher said it they charge for a minimum of an hour's work. So after the plumber cut off the seized nut (5 mins work) I asked him to keep going until 60 mins were up. He finished installing the sink then hit me with an extra 3/4 of an hour charge for driving time, which had never been mentioned. That was a $225 nut! Will I call Anctil to do my shower?No chance. more

Wow! I am impressed. Called about leaking water heater, they came in less than an hour and had new one installed in short order. Very courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonable. About 15 years ago we bought a water heater from them and we just replaced it. Can't ask for more than that. more

Our home was in need of a major re-pipe, including a new water line from the meter to the house. Anctil had the most complete bid of 4 companies who gave estimates. The work was scheduled to take a full week, with another few hours on a day the following week for cosmetic touches once cabinets and drywall were put into place. Daniel was the main plumber for all the work. He immediately put down carpet/floor protection covering. As he completed work on an area each day, he cleaned up any mess he made. Daniel was very quiet, and efficient, he also was conscious of our small dog in keeping doors to the outside shut. The main work was done in only 3 days. Two areas didn't need new piping as they were already copper. Not only were we informed of this "good news", but also due to a change of placement of the water line to the house the time to put in the new line was less. When the invoice came, the owner, Bill, deducted the unneeded labor and parts cost from the total. This sort of honesty is highly appreciated, and guarantees that we will suggest Anctil to anyone who has the need for a reputable plumbing contractor. more

A plumber they were to send over failed to show up for an appointment that was supposed to be between 2:00 and 4:00. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until 4:45 to call... but it turns out they close at 4:30 so nobody was around to reschedule. So I get to go all weekend without running water. This company is the group used by the people who have the warranty on my house. It took three calls but the tech finally crawled under the house and found the bad wire. The first two times they only found a blown fuse which they replaced with a bigger fuse. Nice staff, very friendly, but I was glad I had the warranty folks on my side. more
