I was NOT happy with this store. I purchased my $2,000 dress from Anastasia?s in 1/07. Despite my repeated requests to schedule 2 fittings before my 9/07 wedding, the owner promised the dress would be ?perfect? after 1 fitting. The dress came in late July, I had a fitting in early Aug., and when they finally had it ready in late Aug., it was NOT ?perfect? 10 days before my wedding. I spent 2 hours in the shop while the seamstress tried to fix it to no avail, I ended up in tears, & the owner ignored me the whole time. The shop refunded me $60 for the breast pad inserts and sent me on my way with a seam ripper and advice to play with the dress myself! The dress looks bad in my wedding photos. When I wrote to Anastasia?s after-the-fact to request a refund of approx. $200 to pay to have some pictures Photoshopped for an album, I heard nothing. My advice? Don't believe them when they say dress will be ""perfect""! Insist on 2 fittings! They aren?t very responsive. Pros: Lovely stock, and alterations are ""included."" Cons: Unless you live close by and have extra time to be sure alterations are correct, don't use them. more

It turns out that my childhood friend grew up to own the best new bridal salon I have ever seen. I shopped in San Francisco for months and was getting completely depressed because I couldn't find a dress that I liked or matched my price range. So, then, I traveled home to Delaware went to Anastasia's and within minutes, I had the dress I was going to wear in hand! It was amazing. The store is elegant, professional and pristine. There are chairs for your weary audience/support group/family. The dressing rooms are roomy so you can actually have room to wiggle in and out of dresses with ease. The best part was the owner of course, who made this whole process comfortable and easy. The dresses she has picked range in price and in style and she has a seamstress on hand for all your immediate and long term needs. Its a place where miracles happen and that day, I needed a miracle.
