In August, I wanted a certified veterinary dentist for my dog's tooth problems and was referred to Dr. Nossaman. Anasazi's website went at lengths to proclaim Dr. Nossaman's qualifications as their office's dog dentist, and why you want a certified veterinary dentist to do the work vs just a vet. I set up an appointment with Dr. Nossaman. Dr. Nossaman did not show up to the appointment, but a vet that has not earned her certification for dog dentistry examined my dog and gave me a quote of $1,500. She did not reveal that she did not have her veterinary dentistry certification until I specifically asked at the end of the appointment. That's a lot of money, which would be worth it if it were going to done by a real dog dentist. I decided if the work was going to be done by just a regular vet that my trusted vet at Four Legged Friends could handle it, and she did, for $800. Because of this apparent sneakiness, I could never trust Anasazi Clinic. To their credit, I see today that their website has been updated to remove Dr. Nossaman's name...though not her picture with her name captioned.
