My appointment was with Dr. Anand as a new patient. First, it's a maze trying to find the building. Once I checked in, I was given a cup and advised to provide a urine sample, which I did. After waiting indefinitely, a nurse finally called my name and did the usual- weighing, blood pressure check, etc.., I was then asked if I had given a urine sample. I said yes and the nurse said ""Oh, one of the other nurses must've thrown it out since it's the end of the day, you can just do another one."" I was appalled at the fact that it was thrown out without cause and that I was just expected to provide another one on the spot. They brushed it off as if it was no big deal, although I thought it was unprofessional. Then, I was sent off for more waiting until the dr was ready to see me. She wasn't very friendly. She did the check up and asked about any past complications or unusual problems. She advised me to come back for an additional test to 'make sure everything is fine.' I went back for the test and I was asked to provide another urine sample, which I did again. I called for my test results 2 days later, at which time I was told that Dr. Anand was out of the office and advised to leave a message for the nurse. I left a message and my phone call was not returned. I waited a few days and called back over a week later. The nurse returned my phone call (there was a lot of phone tag since you can't speak to a live person other than the receptionist who will only let you leave a message). When I slightly stressed my frustration about how I hadn't heard anything, I was told that 'my phone number wasn't left on the chart'. (Although I left my number in the message I left the week before) So she made up a few more excuses and said Dr. Anand was still not in the office (beyond a week at this point) and that she didn't know when she'd be back, which was likely a lie. The next week the nurse called me back saying that Dr. Anand wanted me to come back in to do the same test, but slightly different. She also said they never tested the second urine sample that I provided. Again. She wanted me to come in for a third time just to do that. At this point, I was done with them. Why have me come back to do the same tests?? and why have I never even received results from the first test?? It seems they just want to milk the insurance company and continue to waste my time going in without giving me an answer about anything. Horrible experience. I will not go back. I don't trust them. They are unprofessional. They charged the urine sample to my insurance but never performed the actual test. DO NOT GO HERE. I will not see any doctors at this hospital at all.
Pros: The receptionist I spoke with was nice.
Cons: DO NOT GO HERE. Unprofessional. Unreliable.
