This store is great. It has merchandise from tables to chairs, dressers, headboards, armoires, etc. He has everything and if you don't see what you are looking for ask Michael the owner. He just might have it in one of his storage units else where or maybe he can get it for you. Michael is a great store owner and has a long history in the antique world. He is very knowledgeable on what he sells and also what he does not sell. He can referbrish things for you, buy and sell for you and also find the perfect piece that you always wanted for your collection. I would recommend this great Antique Store to anyone even the anti-antique people just because of the great history and beautiful things that he has compared to the rest of the furniture stores in Chicago. I have bought many pieces of furniture from Michael and will continue to in the future. His assistant on refurbishing is Arturo he can work wonders on your pieces that you have at home that need to be fixed up and he also worked on the pieces that Michael has in the store for you. Every piece of antique furniture is in its original condition that he bought it in and that is the way Michael wants you to view it. This is so you can customize the piece the way you want it. For example one of the great things I bought was a 1908 gorgeous dinning table. It needed to be stained to the color that I like and they did a great job. My husband does not have a eye for these things and he could not believe the difference from the before and after. He thought it was a completely different table. They also delivered it to us too so no heavy lifting. I just cant say any bad things about Michael's store except just GO and experience it for your self.
