Needs major clean up! 8/5/2011

We were just there last Saturday. The ice cream was good but the place was so so dirty!! The counters, the floor, the walls, the servers!!! and the bathroom was horrendous. I don't know how this could has been able to stay open at the Quarry!!! I really hope the management reads my review and does a major clean up. They also need to have the servers come in clean clothes and learn how to greet customers with a smile and a hello to say the least!! more

What a great icecream place. We went in on a Friday evening and must have been early as there was hardly anyone around. The guys working behind the counter were very friendly and seemed to very much enjoy their job. We got a pint to go and headed home. Hours later, we pulled the coffee/PB Cup icecream out and it was still very soft, which was a complete suprise. The coffee icecream was very strong and oh so wonderful! Pros: great ice cream Cons: music was loud, abit pricy more

fun to mix, toss, and swirl 11/19/2006

You can do anything to your ice cream here, even toss your ice cream in the air. Just make sure the scooper doesn't touch the ceiling! My favorite thing to order here is mexican vanilla with strawberries. The portions are HUGE, as well as the price. It seems pretty expensive to pay $6 for ice cream, but the atmosphere and quantity is worth it. I enjoy the music during the week, but no so much on the weekend. It is definately a place for the high schoolers and college scene. Pros: good location, good product, Cons: pricey, noisey atmosphere more

Always busy & always good ice cream, especially the Mexican Vanilla! Smash some other of your favorite toppings in there and you've got one of the best treats available in SA. Friendly staff may deliver your order via air-mail, as they are in the habit of tossing the scoops up and catching them to add a little theatrical topping to your ice cream. Sweet place to treat the family or go after a dinner date. Pros: Fresh Cons: not much seating more
