Wow....this was great. Went to Amore Mio with my fiancé...this hidden Italian gem in Hoffman Estates is a true taste of the old country. The ambiance is really nice with great lighting beautiful colors, and a family friendly atmosphere. You are greeted by a friendly smile, and seated promptly. The staff is nice and brings over water, bread, and a tasty brochette appetizer. We started the meal of with a pear salad, this was one of the best appetizers I ever got, the taste buds truly light up......we continued with Mushroom stuffed raviolis, these were simply to DIE for, the pasta just melted in your mouth and they were good to the last drop.....I had lamb which was great and very filling, mi fiancé got Cranberry crusted trout, both were simply phenomenal........Chef Tony the owner came around to the table and greeted us all. the night was topped of with Bomba a home made Italian dessert....the atmosphere makes you feel as though one is in Italy,...........Service GREAT, Bathrooms VERY clean,.........food DEICIOUS.........I would say this was a GREAT dining experience at a very affordable price......Thank you Amore Mio
