Amity Meat Center 1/3/2008

Once you start to buy nice freshly butchered meats at a shop like Amity Meat Center, it is hard to go back to a big chain store. When this place calls itself a full service butcher shop, they really mean it. Custom cutting, filleting, tying etc, are no problem for them. And I was surprised that it wasn't more expensive than a supermarket, but when you consider the bulk they must buy in, and how to get the most from it, it is no wonder they can be competitive. more

I have been a customer at Amity Meat since I was a little girl, and my family and friends are as well. Not only are the employees all friendly and courteous, they make you feel like they've known you for years even if you are a new customer. Everyone is just so nice there! Tons and tons of people I have spoken to have NEVER had a problem with customer service, the only problem they've had is that their stomachs couldn't more of Amity Meats delicious food! Amity Meat Center has the best food around AND best customer service!! Recommended to everyone. All my family and friends eat food from there. Best steaks too! Catered food is delish! Best Meat! 4/19/2007

When you enter their store you automatically feel like a friend of the family. I have found the service to be excellent and felt as I was treated more as a personal friend than a customer along with everyone else in line. The cuts of meat are excellent and the prepared foods are amazing. I custom ordered 10 flank steaks and all ten were of the highest quality. There were none among them that made you feel like you were getting a lesser portion than the others. The prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend them to anyone, in fact I do. Horrible Customer Service 7/5/2006

Their service is absolutey horrible. They have great food, but the customer service is just so bad. I planned to use them as a caterer for an upcoming party on a sunday which they reluctantly agreed to do saying they would make it the day before and give to us to heat up (an amount for 60 people). We were astonished. And when we made a comment about it they remarked about how it would just take up more of their time to heat it up. Eventually they increased the price to more than what they had originially told us. They were very rude and evidently didn't care, so we decided to go somewhere else. What business would treat their customers like that? Any good business would want to PLEASE their customers and hope that they would return again. I do not reccomend this place.
