Our daughter, who is 6 years old, has been attending Amherst Children's House on & off since she was 6 weeks old. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The program teaches many learning skills, especially language arts. Our daughter was placed in a higher reading class in kindergarten and among the other children at this higher level were several students from the same daycare. If you would like a daycare that also provides great learning experiences I would recommend Amherst Childrens House. I am very satisfied with the cost of the program and the results. more

Worst daycare 6/2/2011

Horrible daycare. Don't use them. They don't listen to what the parents want and don't do what's best for your child. They put the kids on a schedule that's best for them. They wake them up from naps. They leave them in a highchair. They don't make sure the babies have their bottles when they need them, only when it's convenient for them. They say what you want to hear and do the complete opposite. You can verbally tell them what you want or write it down and it doesn't matter....they still do things how they want to and not by your babies schedule. DON'T USE THEM. Worst daycare ever. more

Nice Facility & Small/Quaint 1/29/2010

I visited this daycare & I enjoyed seeing it. I liked the coat area, They had nice size rooms but little toys. I didn't care so much for the walking room (Babies that started walking) being so open with just a wall partician. The staff seem friendly. IT was a small facility. She told me there are 50 kids total. They do provide lunches. From the street it looks not so inviting but when you pull up to the door it was nice. She said they take the children in the spring & summer out side at the near by Amherst Park. I was alittle unsure of that but with out expierence I can't judge. Over all i would recomend it if you want something a bit more intimate. Pros: Clean, Friendly, Intimate setting more
