Amherst Barber Shop offers a limited supply of American crew products, with others available by special order. We currently stock both light hold and firm hold gels, spray gel, grooming cream, Daily shampoo and texture cream in the American crew line. Other products we stock are Clubman Talc, Clubman moustache wax, Clubman styling gel, Queen Helene Cholesterol & tea tree shampoo, Infalab liquid styptic, Krew comb "extra super hold hair styling prep" also known as butch wax a favorite with flattop wearers for years.

We also have a limited supply of combs, pocket brushes and nail clippers.

A brief history of Amherst Barber Shop, located in the Amherst Plaza, Massillon Ohio.

Originally opening for business in 195 4 under the name Amherst Park Barber Shop, it was operated in those first years by a Mr. Schmidt (first name and spelling unknown). The Barber Shop retained the name and was sold to Dale Smith in 1957 (date Approximate). In 1970 the Barber shop was again sold this time to a gentleman named Andy Pittner (date Approximate).. Here at Amherst Barber Shop our mission is to:
