I would not recommend the female vet at this place to anyone. She told me there was nothing else she could do for my cat and recommended euthanasia. I took my cat for a second opinion, it was treated and lived another 5 years! Beware.. more

Terrible staff, rude to our dog!! 11/1/2006

We have a Pit mix who is a "talker." When he gets excited he will growl and bark, it's just his way. One of the techs at the office threw a treat at him when she decided he was going to bite her, which he wasn't going to do. He has never bitten anyone and is the friendliest dog we have. This happened after a big change over in staff, prior to that the care our dog received there was fine. They knew Dexter and his personality and treated him kindly. They are also a little pricey. more

Great Service 10/20/2005

I've taken my dog, Kessy, to the Amherst Animal Hospital for her shots, and they have always done an excellent job in caring for her. Most puppies get frightened when they have to take shots, but Kessy barely flinched while the vet distracted her. The people are really nice there, and I would definitely take my dog there again. more
