This is the best place to bowl in the area. The staff is excellent. The place is clean and well kept. The lanes are in great shape. The pro shop staff is helpful.

Don't bother 6/3/2010

I planned a group activity with adults and kids to meet here. The website said they opened at 9am on Thursdays. The schedule on the door said they opened at 10am. The man opening the door at 10:20am said he couldn't let anyone in until 12pm! He didn't even apologize or offer us free bowling coupons. I called later that day to speak to a manager, but he wasn't even going to be there for 2 more days. This is a terrible example of customer service in our area. Pros: Close to another bowling facility Cons: You never know when they are open more

MAP SHOWS LOCATION 5 MILES WEST 9/14/2009

I think this facility is fine, however, the mapquest location is totally incorrect. I am pretty sure it is not located in the location shown as there are homes there. I am pretty sure this location is located between I-45 and Highway 3. more

Number 1 in H-town!!! 5/28/2002

Not too many places can compare to Alpha Lanes. The only other place that's as good is Showplace Lanes in Austin. Alpha Lanes has an extremely helpful and friendly staff and prices are decent. Especially on Tuesday nights where it's 8 dollars for 2 1/2 hours of fun-filled bowling. Lanes are usually excellent. Medium-oily. I've bowled plenty of 200 games on these lanes. more
