Dr. Amet is a true artist. My husband Phil only had 5 teeth on top. He didn't think there was any hope on getting his teeth fixed because of such bad bone loss , mostly due to smoking and a really bad under bite. Phil was referred to Dr. Amet. and he prepared 2 options to chose from. Once Phil pick which option he was interested in, within 2 weeks he had beautiful teeth :) They look soo Awesome & Phil just loves them. Thank You so much for everything. Dr Amet is an experienced, knowledgeable and qualified Prothodontist who takes pride in his work. Before I went to him , I had been to several Dentists without success. My dentures were small for my mouth and did not fit properly.Then when I found Dr Amet, we sat down in his office and he consulted with me to discuss the different options treatments before starting the work. Soon after that the procedures and treatments began for a period of 2years. He was always punctual to work. I understood my problems were complex as I had been edentulous for over 30 years. But he was able to do an excellent job and the results are incredible. Before my dentures were removable and now they are fixed. The surgeries were painless. He has state of the art machines and a lab on site. So I felt good about all that was being done. The waiting room was nice and clean. He also has such a wonderful staff to assist him that by the time all my work was done we were like family. We all had good rapport. I cannot thank Dr Amet and his staff enough for the incredible work they did. Now I look younger and confident with a beautiful smile. (I (I do get compliments all the time.) I was a labor-intensive patient after a couple failed procedures by former dentists left my front upper teeth with big problems. Because of my unsightly teeth and gums, I refrained from smiling as frequently or as naturally as before. Dr. Amet was recommended, and after a careful examination and much thought, he suggested a course of treatment to not only repair the damage but also enhance the appearance. After the work was completed, my husband and I were both amazed and very pleased with the results. Dr. Amet gave me back my smile! Now I feel improved confidence with my appearance, and people perceive me to be a much more cheerful person than before, because I am no longer ashamed of my smile and let it shine without restraint. Dr. Amet is supported by a terrific team who were always very professional, friendly, and competent. Both Dr. Amet and his in-house technician are artists! My insurance covered part of the cost, and while the work was not inexpensive, I definitely feel the quality of the finished product were well worth the cost. Dr. Amet has been our family's dentist since 1983. He is simply "the best". Through the years he has replaced my crowns; fillings; a bridge and just recently completed two implants. He gave me my smile back. When my children were younger he placed sealants on their back teeth and they both have mentioned they were glad they got them. Dr. Amet is very meticulous, kind and caring. I highly recommend him. Two of his staff, in particular, Gail and Pat, are wonderful and have been with him longer than we have-and that's a long time! more

Dr. Amet provides dental care of the highest caliber. I had multiple issues and, by any measure was a complex and difficult case. Step by step, with utmost care, he addressed every issue. Not long ago I saw a friend who I hadn't seen since the completion of my treatment. She said, "Well you finally found a doctor who provided the care you needed, your teeth look so good." I can say, without hesitation, that the treatment I received was far superior than any I previously had. The results were excellent, both functionally and aesthetically, and the rates were competitive. Recently, I had the greatest dental experience that more than exceeded my expectations. That is why I am writing this review, I want to tell the world about the professional Dental service I received from: Dr. Edward M. Amet, Reconstructive & dental Implants Dental Center, Overland KS. Before I selected Dr. Amet for my Dentist, I did my research by comparing Dr. Amet's experience and qualifications against every dental service I could find on the internet in the greater Kansas City Area. When I visited Dr. Amet's web page, (www.dental-implants@Dr-Amet.com) something caught my Eye, it was the Happy Genuine Smiles on the faces of some of Dr Amet's past patients on his web page. Also on his web page were images of actual implants before and after pictures showing how the procedure is done. I was amazed by the natural look and beauty of the Cosmetic Denture images, and the wealth of information about implants and reconstructive dental. So my mind was mostly made up to go with Dr Amet as my Dentist, but there was one more Hurdle I had to get over before I made my final decision. I want to know what kind of Greeting or reception would I get from Dr. Amet's staff, when I call his Center for information or to make an appointment? I called (913-492-2233) the lady who answered the phone was Very Cordial and told me her name was "Pat", I told Pat that I wanted to made an appointment to talk to Dr. Amet about having implants done. Pat made me an appointment and proceeded to explain to me how Dr. Amet would go over the entire procedure with me when I came in for my consultation, and what the cost would be. So it this point, I had crossed the second Hurdle and was ready to met Dr. Amet. I met with Dr. Amet for my consultation, and he explained the procedure for implants and cosmetic dentures step by step. which included how it would be done, the benefits of having it done, and most of all Dr. Amet really put me at ease when he explained that if I choose the implants that I wo more

Good: I liked the doctor a lot and the staff made me feel very safe and was certainly of the highest caliber.. Bad: Just that it's quite a distance from my home but my friend who had gone there assured me it was worth the drive and I agree.. Improvements: Can't think of what I'd change.. Other: I needed extensive dental work which I'd neglected for years which only made matters worse. On my 50th birthday I vowed to at least go to a dentist who then referred me. I'm not saying I'd enjoy going through it all again but they made it tolerable to where I wondered why I'd taken so long to go. Take care of your teeth!. more

Recently on one of my routine visits to my dentist, Dr. Edward M. Amet a prosthodontist, made a suggestion that I should visit my physician and request an evaluation for the disease Polycythemia Vera. For the last several years there had been an ongoing change in my physical appearance and how I was feeling. Since the recognition and correcting of the problem by my physician, who had not observed it, I feel much better and my chances of suffering a fatal heart attack or stroke have been dramatically decreased. Dr. Amet caters to the rich so be prepared for this when he gives you a price quote. Although he is a good dentist he is too much of a perfectionist(to the extreme) and sometimes belittles his assistants for even a slight mistake. As a patient this made me feel quite uncomfortable. He also does not have much of a chair side personality or warmth so if you are nervous at a dental office this is not the dentist for you.. more
