I have been going to Ames Street Auto for the past 15 years having my BMW serviced and my wifes Mercedes. They do pretty much every kind of repair for most vehicles even European cars. Jack (the owner) always gives me a loaner when I drop off my vehicle for repair. If not, he provides a ride for me to work in the morning time. They have a great knowledgeable staff and their gas/repair prices are very reasonable! Jack and his son Nick are both great and I will not go anywhere else besides them! more

i have been there once i did not like the service i think it was the manager pumping the gas he was rude!! the service over all was not good i would not tell any of my friends to go here!!!!! your better off going to the other gas station across the st better service because you pump the gas your self!!!!!!!\r Cons: rude people, service is not good !!!! more

Rude, Hostile, and over charged 1/29/2010

My wife went there and asked for $10 of gas. They then filled up to $23. My wife watching this happen called to the attendant an older guy with salt and pepper hair and a moustache. He heard her and ignored her. Moreover as she yelled louder the car nearest the attendant pointed out my wife's calls. The attendant said she'd have to wait, and laughed it off.\r \r Of course proceeding to make things better he made no attempt at a refund asking if she wanted the money to come out of his pocket and she should have yelled louder.\r \r There are a number of gas stations in the area please avoid this one on principle.\r Pros: Nada Cons: Rude and Hostile more
