Concerned about this companies integrity.\r
My kitchen faucet went the day before we were to travel.I called . A technician was promised between 10am and 2PM. He didn't show up. Not a serious problem. We arranged schedules, I made phone calls , they were very busy many emergencies. By 9pm I called, explained I didn't care what time he came, I needed this fixed tonight.\r
The technician came. Very nice guy, who sadly told me the news.I needed a new faucet. Between the cost of the faucet,which I needed to buy, and the service the cost was close to 400.00 dollars. But since I was leaving early the next day, he would return when I had the faucet .\r
That night a neighbor askd why I hadn't called our home management company to see if it was covered on my home warrenty. I called, our builders rep came out. He took out an allen wrench and tightened the faucet. IT WASNT BROKE. It was loose.\r
So what do I think, well Ames either hires incompetent technicians, OR, they are a group of scoundrels out to cheat people. Either way, that pink plumber is more like the stink plumber. Don't do it.
