Amerifast Heating & Air Cond

There are some negative reviews for this company, but I've had a good experience with them. They installed an air handler last December. About 6 months later, I noticed some moisture on the floor below the air handler. I called them, and they were over in less than an hour, fixed a clog in the drainage system, and charged me their minimum for a service call. Recently, we got a huge electric bill, and I suspected the A/C, so I called Amerifast. Rather than rush over to make a useless service call, they told me to first check with the electric company to see if the rates went up. I did, and it turned out that the electric company had been severely underestimating the last few bills and then finally took an actual meter reading and caught us up on the bill. Not a problem with the A/C, and good advice from Amerifast. BTW, take all reviews (including mine) with a grain of salt. People who are disgruntled are more likely to post a review. more

Witnessed a driver fly through a school zone, past me, and children on the walkway. Driver then got caught at the next light, with me in the next lane a moment later. I pulled the number off the van, and called in to let the owner know that one of his employees was flying through school zones and putting children in danger. He proceeded to argue with met that i might be a prank caller, and that they didn't have a van in that area. Funny, as I had never heard of this company until today. He also stated that they had a van being worked on in this area, so I mentioned that he might want to let the company know that whoever was test driving the van had done this, so they don't get his company in trouble. He then yelled at me, and hung up the phone. Don't use this company, I certainly won't, and I'll be sure to tell everyone how rude they were, with no respect for safety and the life of our kids. No reason to be rude, just letting him know that an employee is misrepresenting his company and driving dangerously! Cons: Drivers Fly through School Zones and past children more

too much to write so in short... - couldn't diagnose problem correctly - changed wiring incorrectly which caused additional damage to AC unit - even though they caused secondary problem had no urgency to fix - workers smoke on your premise - brought incorrect parts multiple times in trying to fix Pros: none as AC unit took 5 visits to fix Cons: horrible service, inept workers, lack of professionalism more
