America's Urgent Care of Upper Arlington

The staff is quick, efficient and caring from the second you step in. I came on a fairly busy day, and only waited 30 minutes to get into a room. The nurse that saw us first was caring and knowledgeable about our questions. Although the doctor seemed a little rushed, he did a good job with his prescriptions and in ordering a splint for my ankle. the same nurse came back and applied the splint expertly. I had to go to them on a saturday because my doctor wasn't open. they gave me several referral choices for an orthopedic doctor to see my ankle on monday when regular businesses opened again. This urgent care center is so much faster than a hospital ER for minor emergencies...and their hours are better than your doctor's office. The price is reasonable, they deal with many different insurance companies, but even without insurance, it only runs about $200. They are good with kids, they are careful to get a good health history, they keep close track of your drug allergies and chronic conditions. They offer a survey with each visit, and call you the next day to see if you have any questions about your condition or care. The doctors are usually quite good, although I had one that made a joke about a drug allergy...not too funny. My doctor was pleased about their prescription choices, and the stitches they put in...my daughter cons them out of popsicles every time she's there. more
