I rented a few cases of glasses from them for my party recently. The website was easy to use and the prices are great. When I went to pick up the glasses I got to play with the cutest dog ever! I forget her name. Everyone that works there seemed very nice and happy to be there. I will shop here again and refer them to my friends for sure. I also like that they are a small family owned business. Support local businesses!!! more

Wonderful Experience 9/21/2009

I have helped many friends plan weddings as well as planned my own. I called many companies in Sacramento to get quotes and check their inventory. America's Party Rental had the best prices, but didn't carry the chairs I wanted or have a big enough tent. I chose to still rent everything else from them: tables, linens, a bar, dishes, silverware, all different types of glasses, etc. I was very pleased that they were always polite when I called time and again to make sure everything was in order. With such a large order, I was really worried something would be wrong. All of the items were delivered on time and in great condition. During the wedding at least one glass was accidentally broken and they never charged us though I told them about it. \r \r I have recommended America's Party Rental to friends and am using them again for my daughter's birthday party. \r more

I just would like to tell you how unprofessional your weekend employees are. Me and my family went into your store with the intentions on making a very large purchase for my sisters wedding. When we walked in we were greeted by a young girl who seemed to be hungover or just not wanting to be there, either way we were completely ignored. We finally had to go ask her ""do you think we can get some help"" she replied with ""what do you need help with?"". I am sorry but being in the customer service business I think that is just incredibly rude and think you should rethink your choice of hires or train your employees a little better. I know of some great customer service seminars if your interested.\r \r So after she finally got up she might as well had sat right back down cause she knew nothing about your products. I think we knew more than her. As we were discussing our choices she was not writing anything down or ""trying to sale"". And out of no where she disappeared, now I understand you need to tend to other guests when they come in but the nice thing to do would tell the guests she is with at the time ""excuse me, I need to tend to the other guest who just walked in, let me get my partner to help and I will be back"". But she said nothing, just disappeared. After roaming around for about 20 minutes I went out to see if the lady in the office was doing anything, as I poked my head in she just kooked at me and then continued to surf the Internet. I would think she would ask me ""do you need any help"" or ""can I answer some questions"" but I was completely ignored. I almost lost it!!!\r \r The original gal who we were speaking to must have known the guest who came in cause they were having personal chit chat. After she was done she went to sit down without acknowledging we were still there. I walked up to here and she said ""Did you have more questions?""!!!! Are you kidding me right now! This girl made me speechless. I said ""YES"" we have needed help from the beginning. Finally we just put together a quote just so we could try and match prices with another rental place and we left!! There is no way in hell I will refer your company to anyone! And I will make sure to post reviews. I should have listened to the horror stories that Ive heard about this place.\r \r Pros: Decent pricing besides the individually priced silverware Cons: Clueless staff and management and worst Customer Service!!!! more

America's Party Rental went above and beyond to take care of us for my daughters wedding. I cannot believe how great their customer service was and that their equipment was in such good condition. I have referred them to many people for their events as I know this is the best rental company town! Pros: Best rental company in town! Cons: none more

The staff was fabulous, they attended to my every need as well as suggesting items I did ot think of. Their linen room is amazing it gave me so many fabric options and colors to choose from. My event was perfect thanks to America's Party Rental. I referred them to my friends and family and we have all had excellent experiences with them. UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE 1/8/2009

This had to be the WORST experience with a business I've ever had in my life. After my event, I went to drop off plates & silverware. Before I left, I checked to make sure they were open on saturday, it said 9AM to 1PM. I arrived to their showroom at 9:30AM. All the doors were closed, and no sign of the business being opened. I called the manager, owner, whoever he is (Brian) on his cell phone, he told me that someone was supposed to call me and tell me that they were going to be closed that day...because it was a ""holiday weekend"" for them. I was frustrated, because it was a large order, and I wouldn't have an opportunity to drop it off for another week. On monday, Brian decided to charge me another full amount for the rental, which caused an NSF charge in my bank account. I was furious. I called Brian, negotiated with him to refund the 2nd rental, come pick up the plates, and charge me a 1 day late fee. We also agreed that he would refund half of the NSF fee. I checked my bank account today, he CHARGED me half of the NSF fee instead of refunding it.\r \r If you dont want to read the details - STAY AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS. PAY MORE MONEY, HAVE PEACE OF MIND! Pros: Had what I wanted.... Cons: rude staff, unprofessional experience, DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM more

Do not rent here 12/22/2008

We ordered items for our company holiday party, thinking we would get a corporate discount or atleast good customer service (hoping they would want our buisness again) we did not!! They never called us back, never emailed over qoutes, when we finally did come to pick up our stuff all of our chairs were filthy as well as the tables. To top it off, when we went to pick up the items they we were yelled at by the owner Brian. He told us to leave the building because he did not want us to help load, i would understand askling us nicely, but yelling at us!!! Come on now. I would never rent from this company again. Id rather go somewhere with higher prices and better customer service. i guess thats what you get when you go to a family owned buisness. Worst Vendor EVER 6/24/2008

I used them for my wedding and it was a nightmare. First off I don't think anybody that works there knows anything about weddings or parties. They staff was unprofessional and rude, they acted annoyed when I called about my order. Then they had to make 3 separate deliveries to my wedding because they could not get it right. When I called to complain they acted like it was my fault. BUYER BEWARE even if they are cheaper don't go for it, spend more money somewhere else and get what you want. more

I've worked with this company on two separate occasions and have found their service and rentals to be exceptional. I gave Heather the owner the reins to pick my linen fabrics and colors to help me create an amazing event for both my sisters baby shower and my wedding. I don't believe any negative ratings for this company as they go above and beyond to help you create a beautiful event. You have to see their showroom to really understand just far they plan to go to take care of their customers. Great job America's Party Rental keep up the great work! more

TERRIBLE 9/29/2007

They did not bring the correct color linens I ordered and it completly ruined my wedding decor. When I called to complain I was rudly asked by the ower Heather to call back when I could calm down. I was hung up on and then when I called back I was told that there was nothing that could be done and I would not receive a discount. Similar thing happened to a good friend with them as well. I will never use them again. more
