An unusual place, with a lot of character. Huge entry lobby with curved, sweeping staircases on either side. A vast dining room, nearly empty of both tables and people when I visited for the continental breakfast. ""Rooms"" are apparently all suites -- certainly mine was. Staff warm and helpful. All fine, and somehow hinting of real grandeur either past or never quite attained. The bed and bathroom were large and fresh, and everything was clean, but the couch in my ""living room"" was a bit tired. An HD TV in each of the two rooms, with a remarkable number of active channels, but no way I could find to discover what was on. It's friendly, quiet, reasonably priced, interesting, and close to the Interstate. I'd stay here again.
