Pretty simple, these guys have a sales pitch like a used car dealer. Your child will learn a bit about respect, honor etc. and they will learn some martial art techniques, but not in a manner that teaches them how to actually use them. Your child will never learn how to block a p unch, kick etc. that is moving any faster than slow motion. You will be sold a lot of pads and equipment that you must purchase from them, which you won't ever need. Your child will wear them, but won't ever need them. If you show up every week and pay for the tests, you get your belts. It is as simple as that. If you miss some classes and don't have enough hours to get your belt, then don't worry, they will sell you one. Honestly, if you just pay a few hundred dollars for your child to attend their summer camp, your child automatically gets their next belt!\r
The contract is histerical, if you don't committ to a 30 month program, which has no outs in it, then you will have to pay more than 2x the rate. Which of course is much more than you would pay at any other school. If you sign for 30 months, then your rate would be in-line with other month-to-month rates.\r

They also have a lot of seminars for weapons etc. where they get your kids all excited to attend only your jammed in a corner each time. The cost of the seminars is more than your monthly fee, unless you bring another little friend along that they can try their pitch on, if you do that, then it is free.
Pros: good discipline, self confidence instruction
Cons: if your hoping your child will learn self defense then this isn't it
