I took an injured cockatiel (her eye area was infected badly) there and the woman, Jeanne I believe, told me that a vet would be in every Sunday to treat the animals and birds.I was worried and came back with a male friend to find the bird I had dropped off with grease smeared on her eye and suffering very obviously. When I questioned the woman she told me she had never, ever said a vet would be on hand. I demanded my bird back and I was able to take her to a quality vet who drained the abcess and gave me antibiotics for her. This bird, now mine, was a wonderful pet for years. They lie and steal there. They hurt people and injured wildlife by lying about being helpful and not treating them at all. The woman appeared to be afraid of my friend, and she denied ever saying a vet would arrive to help my wonderful bird. 462-0726 is the place to take injured animals and birds. They are at 1855 17th Ave. Good care. Pros: Nothing positive to say about this place. Bad news. Cons: Dishonesty; they lied, did not assist the injured bird. more

wouldn't recommend anyone to go there! The place is abandoned and trashed, there are no animals besides a dog and a pig, both dirty, and a half-drunk, half-high guy who comes out half an hour later and tells you to get going and that they don't take anymore animals. If you ask him any other questions he becomes rude and tells you to leave. So theres no point in going there on the first place unless you are craving to beat somebody's butt caz in that case the half-drunk, half-high guy is the perfect subject ;) more
