American Van Lines

I contacted American Van Lines in September to schedule a move. As the moving coordinator and I had planned, my move took place in early October and the movers who assisted were Alex, Matthew and Eric. I relocated from San Antonio, TX to Tampa, FL and I am glad to say the entire project went off without a hitch. Each mover was very easy to work with and worked tirelessly until every moving box was empty. My move was better than I could have expected. I?ve moved quite a lot so I am used to contacting various moving companies to get a good rate. I came across American Van Lines and decided to give them a call and check out their quotes. I was surprised to see how affordable they were so I hired them to move my old things from my grandmother?s house in San Antonio to my place in Chicago. The movers, Edwin and Phillip, arrived at my grandmother?s house in right on time, and she said that they were very well mannered and seemed to know what they were doing. I was told they set up a neat space for packing and had an upbeat attitude the whole time. Once they had everything set up, they began wrapping and packing everything in the house, they even wrapped my furniture. When I asked Edwin why they even bothered to wrap furniture he told me that it was better to be safe than sorry. When they arrived at my new place, they were still pretty energetic and kept a positive attitude. I have worked with many movers in the past but I have never met any movers that put as much time and focus into safeguarding my possessions before. I wanted to write and say what a terrific job your company did in moving my antique furniture to our retirement home in Atlanta. I have moved several times in my life and I have never seen furniture wrapped and handled with such care. Ray Bentley and Robert Cone handled each piece as if it were their own, and I was impressed with how exceptionally professional they were in their interactions with us and each other. The whole move went off without a hitch, and Ray and Robert were not only consummate professionals but just downright nice guys. They made the whole experience unexpectedly pleasant.
