No Place Like it 9/7/2011

There is no place like this. Where can buy sewing machines and vacuums as well as take sewing lessons? They always have just the right vacuum bag or thread and I have brought several vacuums to them that I thought were finished and they were miraculously repaired within a week. The owner is a wonderful salesman and really knows his stuff. He is honest and fair and always seems to have the right solution to every sewing and vacuum problem. I can't recommend this place enough. more

Great customer service. 9/6/2011

These guys were so nice, I had purchased a vacuum from another place in the area, and thanks to them it's still going strong 6 or 7 years later. They serviced it regularly(new belts) and cleaned it once for free. It's an old-fashioned type business with great customer service and quality work. more

Our vacuum was really dirty, I had a friend recommend this store and took it in to be fixed. They say one day service, it took 2 days but wow it was like new. more

Worth Every Penny 8/24/2011

I volunteered to do the embroidering for my sons baseball teams hats. What they didn't know was I didn't know how to do embroidering, but I thought to myself what a great time to learn. I went to American Sewing Center to get an embroidery sewing machine and while I was there they even gave me some lessons on how to do it. Thanks to them I now do the hats for the entire league. It was well worth every penny. more

Loving Service!! 8/22/2011

My friend came here and said the way she was taught she could do it in her sleep. That's how easy it was. Compared to the other location she had gone to she couldn't remember a thing. So I decided to come with her and the way they taught it was easy to remember. Thanks to you guys I know how to sew now. more

I thought it was impossible to learn how to sew but they taught me well. I love the service. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn but have a hard time learning because this place have the patience and persistent to teach someone who wants to learn. Thank you. more

Modern machines 8/15/2011

This company has been here for a long time. I remember seeing them when I was still a child. I finally decided to go in and give them a try with some lessons. They also have a really big selection of modern machines, which I am going to take advantage of when my skills get better. more

I signed up for the basic sewing class and was very impressed not only with American Sewing but also myself for learning and picking it up so quickly. I am having a great time here. The ladies are friendly and helpful and I'm learning a lot. more

Great Products 8/10/2011

I grew up learning how to sew on my grandmothers sewing machine, but I'm came to realize it may be a little out of date. I wanted something new and I wasn't quite sure where to start or how to choose. The staff here really helped me out and informed me on all of the products. I love my new sewing machine. more

I was so curious about the classes at American Sewing, but was not sure what they had to offer. After talking with current students that took the class and doing some research online, I felt that this skill would be invaluable. American Sewing and Vacuum really provides a great service here in Princeton. Not only do they offer product and use and test but they also teach you how to use them and that is an invaluable to someone like me who hasn't sewn since home economics in junior high. more
