Love These Guys 1/23/2012

Love these guys! I have a house full of hair (provided by 2 long haired cats and a dog) so we have to vacuum constantly. I've taken my vacuum here every time and they are always super friendly, helpful, fast and reasonably priced! more

I love to sew and this is where I go to get all my equipment. They are very handy and helpful there. I don't even bother looking for anything, I just ask them and they bring me right to what I need. They also have vacuums and the owner is a salesman, who is a very kind man. more

Great service 11/16/2011

We have a hairy dog who's fur is known for "killing" vacuum cleaners. I took her latest victim in to American because the vacuum cleaner was advertised as being able to handle pet fur and It cost too much to just throw out. They had the vacuum cleaner back to new and sucking up fur balls like it had never been broken. It's still going strong months later! more

Classes & repairs! 11/8/2011

I have been to several of the classes that Amercian Sewing and Vacuum Center offers and have bought a sewing machine from them. The classes are very informative and entertaining. They were even able to fix my sewing machine when I thought I had broken it. more

Highly recommend! 11/7/2011

I've had both my regular machine and my serger serviced there. It always comes back cleaned and properly adjusted, and if it doesn't (fussy serger), he takes it back and works on it until it is. I highly recommend this place! more

Honest 11/4/2011

Never had to take a vacuum in to be repaired before. The people who run the store were extremely forthright and honest about what was wrong with the vacuum, and how to go about fixing it. It works great now! Nice to see that there are still honest and reliable small business owners out there. Thanks again! more

They fixed it! 11/2/2011

If they can, they'll fix it, and if they fix it, you probably won't need to have it fixed again. My hand-me-down late '60's Singer works beautifully after taking it in there for servicing and cleaning. I had been worried that I'd sewn the life out of the thing with my early attempts at learning to sew, but they reinvigorated it and I couldn't be happier. more

Great service. My Hoover stopped working so I took it to American Sewing & Vacuum Center. The guy knew the exact problem of the vacuum and fixed it the next day. He also provided helpful tips to keep my vacuum working efficiently. The vacuum worked as if it was brand new and it smelled great. I will definitely go back. more

No hard sells here, and they have fantastic after-purchase support. I have taken several classes, and thoroughly enjoyed those as well. In addition to selling top quality machines. It is one of my favorite "happy" places to go. more

I recently took my broken vacuum in to American Sewing and Vacuum Center and was very pleased with the entire experience. They obviously have a great deal of experience fixing vacuums because they knew what the problem was as soon as I'd finished explaining what had happened with it the day before. more

Highly Recommend 10/12/2011

My wife and I visited American Sewing and Vacuum Center the other day and were very impressed by their friendly and knowledgeable staff. We took our vacuum cleaner in about 15 minutes before closing, and expected to have to leave it overnight, but the repairman on duty fixed the problem on the spot. I would recommend them to anyone in the Princeton area who's having trouble with a vacuum. more

We have had a few vacuum cleaners repaired by American Sewing And Vacuum Center and the service was very friendly, knowledgeable and very timely. They took the time to show everything they had done, and tested the machine on the spot. The prices were reasonable (very inexpensive), and his manner very considerate. more

Wonderful Experience! 10/7/2011

When my vacuum stopped working I took it to American Sewing and Vacuum. They were able to get it fixed and repaired for me without pressuring me to buy a new one! I have been using this vacuum for 9 years and just did not want to part ways with it yet! So glad American Sewing and Vacuum could fix it for me! more
