Excellent Food and Excellent Service 5/18/2008

We go to Behihana's and the Hibachi Grill in Westminster frequently. This restaurant compared favorably in their menu items and the tenderness of the grilled beef was amazing. Different from the other restaurants mentioned, we enjoyed the standard miso soup and miso salad dressing that this restaurant has (the others offer onion soup and the miso soup could be ordered separately). We also found the grill sauces & the sushi to be spectacular! more

Hibachi grill keeps kids entertained! 6/29/2006

This is a great family restaurant. The hibachi grill will keep your kids entertained. Tueday is kids eat free, however be aware that the kid hibachi entree's are not free! Locally owned, and owner will walk around and talk to you. He is very nice, and they have awesome food. Pros: Service, entertaining, happy atmosphere Cons: parking more

Too much Americanizing, Not enough Japanese 3/17/2006

Not recommended for the following reasons: You can't order hibachi type food in the dining room, only at the grill. Very loud inside, difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. No Japanese flavor to the food: the sauces are watered down, adding sesame to a steak does not qualify as Japanese. No value: prices are the same as BeniHana, but the taste is not there. Ambiance: More of a sports bar atmosphere than a hibachi grill. Pros: Service Cons: Value, Noise, Americanized Food more
