American River Hearing

I thought I had trouble finding the place. According to Google, University Ave. was right off Fair Oaks Blvd. NOT! But I drove around a bit and finally found the street where American River Hearing was located. Then my experience was wonderful! I got my testing done, heard about the different possibilities of assistance since I am already a hearing aide user. Meghann K. had information via computer of the aides I am now wearing and how my hearing is now with the tests compared. What was even more wonderful was during our conversation and my questions I did not feel the pressure of having to buy new aides as I had in the past experiences. The office continues to utilize the brand I now use. I left with the feeling that I am being handled as a patient that has alternatives to be cared for as a patient's needs at the present. There was no hard sale to purchase new aides right away. This experience for me is something different from the past 12 years of needing hearing aides. more

My experience at Gold Country Hearing was wonderful. Teresa was excellent, very knowledgeable and competent. She explained everything thoroughly and was very pleasant, friendly, helpful with a great attitude! Megan, the office manager, was very pleasant and helpful. Gold Country Hearing at 601 University Avenue is a nice clean place with a peaceful atmosphere. I also got my hearing aids and it was a great visit! more

although my left ha had to be sent to the factory, my new replacement took less time to arrive than I expected. more

Met Dr Sander today. He listened to my problems attentively. Offering suggestions and advice. He said my earwax block the opening and hardened on the side. He suggested my ear should be taken care by specialist and my hearing should improve. He even clean my hearing aid. Wonderful Doctor and very pleasant. Thank you Doctor. more

I have had a hard time with my hearing aids for a log time. I am a vet with full disability, but due to the Corona Virus I was having a hard time getting an appointment; so I was told about Gold Country, and was able to get in immediately. Charley Sanders checked out my hearing and the Phonak aids which he said were out of spec, and sent them to the factory to get fixed. I just got them back and they are working great. 5 Stars for GC. more

The staff are a “10” in my book. Always helpful and the hearing aids that they suggested have changed my world completely! Love them more

Front staff were friendly over the phone and in person. Got in and out quickly. Audiologist explained everything and made the process easy. Definitely recommend. more
