After an inconclusive x-ray with my son, I had to take my newborn for a CT scan. I was able to get an appointment the same day. The office staff was very friendly. The technician was also very friendly and took the time to explain to us exactly what would happen and what to expect. Once my son was taken to the room for the CT scan was, we were done in a matter of minutes. They let my husband stay with him, and he did not have to be sedated. My biggest complaint is that the CT scan was done on a Thursday. We were told the results would be read and sent to his Dr. in 24-48 hours. Since we did not hear anything Friday, we assumed it wouldn't be until Monday. However, by 7pm Monday night, we still hadn't heard anything. We called American Radiology, and were told that the results had been read, but they had not been sent to our Dr. I was quite angry that they did not send them when they were ready!
