Editorial review from Citysearch 9/8/2013

AMAA has helped Mark with his personal development, even when he did not realize it. He was 5 or 6 years old when he started karate, and thought it was a playground like day care had been. He did not have a goal in mind, or know what a goal was. The vision became apparent as AMAA instilled some of their principles of success into his head. AMAA has helped develop Mark's character, karate skills, and behavior. He has become a good citizen due to AMAA's teaching and encouragement. The biggest change in Mark's attitude has been in the last 6 months. He has learned that goals cannot be reached unless they are established and worked for. The only thing I can say about our experience with AMAA is that it is a 10 in our book. The instructors and staff have helped Mark develop into a good citizen that is still learning and growing. more

Best Life Experience for Kids! 3/2/2010

I started training at American Martial Arts Academy at the age of 6 - and my parents to this day agree that it was the best decision they've ever made! My parents were worried that I was a shy, immature 6 year old, but through Shihan Wenneberg's award-winning training, I was able to raise my grades, build confidence, and even get involved in student council from 6th-12th grades. The training I have had through American Martial Arts Academy has helped me remain drug-free, stay away from peer pressure, and stay in shape. While my high school and college peers were involved in drugs and the partying scene, I was helping other children achieve what I had achieved. If you want to learn how to kick butt or be an UFC star, AMAA is not the best studio for you. But if you are interested in developing confidence, self-discipline, and leadership skills, among many other life skills, there is no better school to do so than American Martial Arts Academy. more

My experience at American Martial Arts Academy has been the best. My sister and I started at age 6 and through their life-skills program have built self-confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. All of the success that I am experiencing is largely due to the skills and traits I learned and developed at AMAA.\r \r Thank you to all of the instructors they work really hard to help everyone become their best Pros: Great Staff, Facility, & Structure of classes.
