Not satisfactory. 1/11/2013

American Leak Detection came out to determine if there was a leak in my pool or my spa. They did their test and couldn't find any leak, though they believed the skimmer in my spa could be leaking water. They recommended that I replace the skimmer. So, a gentlemen came out and installed a skimmer and a float valve as well. Within a week later, my spa overflowed over night. I called my regular pool service people, who removed the float valve and told me that American Leak Detection should have known better. more

Totally a great experience. 1/9/2013

They had great customer service. The lady I talked to on the phone was great and told me everything upfront. They seemed very honest and were very courteous. more

Outstanding 1/7/2013

The technician that came out from American Leak Detection was outstanding. I had a water leak in the system and I didn't know where it was coming from. It was leaking quite badly, about an inch a day. The technician skimmed the area and plugged the source. I was impressed with the technician's quality of work and his character. He showed company loyalty. He was capable, knew what he was doing, and did it well. more

They helped me to detect the cause of over a thousand dollar water bill, as I needed to find out what was causing it. They were able to find the cause and fix it in a very timely fashion. more

Bittersweet, they should have found both problems at the same time. 12/14/2012

I called American Leak Detection because I was having a problem with my pool. They told me that one of the skimmers on my pool was leaking, and they told me to replace it. So I had someone come out to replace it. But I was still having a leak from the pool, so I called American Leak Detection again. They ran another test, and told me that my other skimmer was leaking. They waived the inspection fee of $150 since they missed it the first time. more

I've recommended American Leak Detection several times. The representative, Christian came out in a timely fashion, and went above and beyond to find our leak. He checked our system and the neighbors to determine whose problem the leak really was. He checked out our whole house to find the problem and then solved it. Christian was terrific. Don't waste time getting anyone else to detect a leak! more

Just a great experience. 5/10/2012

American Leak Detection were absolutely great. They arrived on time and were really pleasant guys. They spent an awful lot of time looking for the leak that we had restricted to an area of the garden. The garden is quite spread out, and they finally found the leak on the outskirts of our boundary. They really put a lot of time and effort into looking, and it was a very big leak. They were really fantastic, just great. The workers were courteous, careful and I honestly cannot fault them. more

Knowledgeable, worthwhile service 4/17/2012

I hired American Leak Detection to find a leak in one of my water lines. It was within a few inches of where they said it would be. They are expensive but if you can afford the service it is very worthwhile. They came out quickly after I called them and their expertise is great. more

Efficient, prompt, and not costly 3/16/2012

American Leak Detection was referred to me by our plumbers to help find a leak in my water service line. They came very promptly and were very close to where the leak was which made it much less expensive for me to fix my leak. The man who came out was very helpful and he explained everything he was doing. On top of that, he did a great job. He was efficient and cleaned up afterwards so I was very satisfied and would highly recommend them. more

Before American Leak Detection, I was having quite a few leaks. The first couple of times I had regular plumbers come out and they took nearly 5-6 days and created holes. I was referred to American Leak Detection by a friend and they came and fixed the hole and leak in 2 hours. I was very satisfied with their service. more

It was excellent. American Leak Detection was great. The man who did the job was very knowledgeable and thorough in his search for the leak in our pool. It is not easy to check all the pipes but he checked every single one of them. He even spent extra time and did not charge me for it. more

Quick, efficient and professional. 1/23/2012

We suspected that we had a water leak on our property. We had the Marin Municipal Water District come out and they confirmed our suspicions. They recommended American Leak Detection to us. We called and they were able to send someone out the next day for an inspection. And then they were able to send someone out the day after that for repairs. We were very happy our problem was fixed so quickly and we would use them again for future issues. more

The only reason I gave them a four star, for willingness to recommend, was due to the high cost of the service. It is the second time I have used them though. I am impressed with how effective they were at locating and fixing the leak. more

Professional, efficient, curtious and pleasant to deal with. 12/16/2011

I had tremendous leakage in my pool and American Leak Detection came out, and the people were great. They found the leak and the next day they came back and repaired the it. They were very efficient. They had to cut out and replace a piece of concrete by the pool filter and it matched perfectly. They did really well and I would use them again in a new york minute more

American Leak Detection was good. We were losing water from the pool, and the first time they came out they found that perhaps we were losing some through a leak by the skimmer. They epoxied it up, but that didn't do it, so they came back again. They pressure tested all the pipes, but there was nothing wrong there. They determined that the basis for the leak was a seal that was bad in one of the pumps. I replaced the pump, and that took care of it! more

This was the first time I used American Leak Detection and Christian was great! He was courteous and professional and worked efficiently. I think it's really nice to see someone taking his job seriously. He knew exactly what he was doing. I would definitely use him again, only I hope I don't have to anytime soon! more

There really is not much to say about my experience with American Leak Detection. It went pretty quick. They came out, found the problem, recommended two options of service, we picked one, they came out the next week, fixed it, and we're still in the pool as we speak! more
