This place is a huge joke! The techs seemed nice but the management is insane. I went in for a consultation and was told over and over again what was wrong with my body and basically how ugly and hairy I was. The manager Melissa was so fake and acted like she was my best friend but couldn't remember my name! As the consultation continued she brought in her Assistant Manager to help go into more detail about the services performed, it was very obvious that Melissa was not the brains of the operation just the pushy annoying sales lady out to get you for every last penny. The Assistant Manger was very nice and answered all my questions and I felt bad she had to work for Melissa. They offered to do a laser hair removal treatment so I could see how it would feel. I agreed and the next thing I know Melissa is pulling one of their technicians out of a room where they are already performing a treatment. I felt so bad for whoever was in there just having to wait to get their treatment finished! But I guess when you are a broke company you do what you gotta do! In the long run after doing some research and speaking to some friends of mine I decided that this was not the place to go. It was very obvious they just want your money and they will go to any lengths to get your money. I do not recommend this place to anyone...there are many more reputable businesses out there and needless to say American Laser filed for Chapter 11 and as far as I know it's not the first time, they have changed their name multiple times. more

This place is a scam! they used to be called american laser centers and because of all the lawsuits and negative comments on blogs etc. they changed their name to american laser skincare so dont be fooled its the same company and no results. just google this company and it will speak for itself you'll be glad you did. I have no doubt in my mind that the two postive comments below are people that work for the company look at how close the dates are more

I had read so many horrible reviews and was honestly nervous about coming in but I really wanted to get my laser done so I went in. The staff is really friendly, I got a good price and after only 4 treatments I'm seeing tons of bald spots! I don't know if they have changed staff since some of these reviews but everyone is awesome. more

When I originally came into American Laser I was very sckeptical, however once I arrived and met with Melissa Lee I knew someone would finally be able to help me remove the acne scarring. I originally won a gift certificate that was valid towards any package or microderm or even a chemical peel. There was no pressure or scam, simply service and educational tools offered. I choose the E-Matrix treatments that have done a 100 % turn around on my face taking away all my acne scarring, not to mention fine lines and wrinkles. Thank you American Laser... more

I signed up online for their $3000 laser hair removal contest. I read the rules and fine print, noticing they would select winners on the 31st. I also selected to be contacted only late afternoon - evening (I sleep days) but they immediately started calling early the next day waking me up and kept calling 3x a day.. Each day they called several times at 8am, disturbing my sleep,. I called back on the 23rd and was told I had not won, but they had a $300 coupon for me;. The drawing wouldn't even happen till the 31st so I asked the lady about this and she lied, telling me they'd already done it;. I read the official rules, so I knew she was lying and I asked why they did the drawing early!. She heaved a sigh and hung up on me|. For a professional 'medical' center to have such unprofessional call center practices and outright false advertising, my faith in the company is completely destroyed'. I'll not let liars give me any type of treatment more

Terrible service. Terrible company. Even worse customer service. Prepare for a scam, because this is what you're gonna get. You are only a number. You will be called at your home and offered the latest ""sale,"" so that the sales staff can keep their numbers looking good. There is no professionalism at this entire company, let alone this clinic. The company had to change it's name because it had such a bad reputation, and they closed over half of their clinics within the last couple years. Good luck getting an appointment time, you will be rescheduled constantly. Stay away. Not recommended to ANYONE. more

I don't know anything about their treatments, but I can tell you this....if you are sensitive about telling someone about your fine lines and wrinkles, definitely don't go here. I went to inquire about their profractional laser treatments and/or other treatments for fine lines. Instead of getting information for me, the girl that I talked to just kept laughing at me which made me very uncomfortable. I'm not sure what she thought was so hilarious. Does she treat everyone this way? Then she began asking me questions about myself that were irrelevant and grilled me on my financial situation and how much could I afford in monthly payments? I'll never go back there again, I'll take my business somewhere else. more

I got treated in the Brentwood TN location, not the American Laser Center Mesa, AZ location. 100% No Results...thousands taken. American Laser Center fails to tell people that the laser hair removal ONLY WORKS ON SOME PEOPLE!!! Even if you have dark black hair. They send out $300-$1000 OFF PACKAGE VOUCHERS in their online contest. The WHOLE PURPOSE of this technique is to GET YOU TO SIGN A BINDING CONTRACT WITHOUT KNOWING IF THE TREATMENTS WILL WORK FOR YOU. Chances are...THEY WILL NOT! I spent thousands of dollars on a package to find out that the lasers they use do not work on me...(note that I have had great results at other hair removal clinics using a different type of laser machine). Not a SINGLE strand of hair has fallen off since I have been getting treated at American Laser Center in Brentwood TN...Treatment Works on VERY few people. Don't waste your time and money. They are crooks. Permanent hair removal is not what you will get. You will scar and in some areas get worse hair growth. Worst of all they don't stand by their product. Their guarantee is a lye. more

I've been going to the ALC of Mesa for about a year now. I've done everything from Microderms, Laser Hair removal to Foto Facials. I scheduled a consultation appointment with Crystal Medina at the Mesa location. She made me feel so comfortable from the minute I walked in the door and spent so much time with me to assure me of my questions/concerns. I have always struggled with my weight and have tried all the crazy diets and was about to give up until I started a treatment called the Vela Shape…Crystal and her staff walked me through each session and coached me through my journey. I would recommended the Mesa location and American Laser Centers to my family members and friends…Thank you American Laser for not giving up on me! more
