I started taking Fitness Kickboxing at AKKA in Rockland in February. I wanted a kickboxing class that wasn't the ""standard"" gym kickboxing class ""kick, kick, kick, punch, punch, punch, BLAH."" I needed a program that would work ALL of my muscle groups, make me stronger, improve my energy and stamina, and most of all; help me lose some weight. I have lost 15 lbs so far, made new friends, set and achieved new goals and I continue to push myself to new heights - all the while having a great time in class. I've been able to do things I never thought I'd be able to do!
Ken runs his class so that everyone feels they are capable of accomplishing his routines. He not only encourages everyone on a personal level, but support comes from within - my class mates continue to encourage and push me, and me, them. The routines change regularly to ensure that all muscle groups are being used and to keep the class challenging. It will never be easy, but it will always be fun. I HIGHLY recommend Ken Marks Fitness Kickboxing class.
