First off, I am not exactly sure of the name of the tech who came out because I couldn't read his name on the bill. The one I chose is who I think it was. I think the techs did a good job inspecting and identifying those sprinkler heads that were leaking or defective. They replaced the defective ones in about two hours and checked the system after finishing to make sure everything was working correctly. I have two concerns. First, one of my chief complaints was that the controller had been acting erratically recently and asked them to make sure there was not a wiring or other problem. Before they left I aske the tech if the controller checked out OK. His answer was, "it's working now" Ok, but it's worked Ok on occasion before but then the next scheduled watering it would stop and show and error code. I had hoped they would test it in some manner too make sure it was going to work in the future. The second surprise was the price of the job. seemed rather high to me for a couple of house of work. I was shown the estimate before they started and agreed to it. However the prices listed for replacing the gear drives rotors or nozzles at $43.00 per unit seemed high to me. The spray heads were listed at $29.00 per unit which seemed a bit more reasonable. In any case I was satisfied with the wok and if the controller continues to operate adequately I have no complaint. more

American Irrigation Repair sent several people to look at my 18 year old system. They were all great, and very polite. The only valve that didn't need rebuilding was one that had been done about 10 years ago. They didn't just replace the guts, either. They are like new! They also went above and beyond my expectations fixing a hose bib that the original installers used a PVC pipe 2 feet tall, with no shut off. Now, it is below ground with a cover, with a shut off for winterization. Plus, the price was right. Thanks, guys! more

Filiberto and his assistant quickly and efficiently addressed the known issues with our system, and were also very proactive in addressing (and fixing) other issues we were unaware of. Since we are new to the house, he also showed us how to use the system, recommended (and set) a good schedule, and then walked each zone with us to explain the repairs/adjustments he had made and to observe spray patterns. He even replaced at no additional charge a couple of heads based on my comments. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and service, and will definitely be calling these guys again. more

The technicians arrived at the scheduled time. Agustin and his associate explained what was wrong and detailed the cost for the repair. Work completed in a timely and professional manner. It may not be the cheapest company to call for irrigation repair, but pleased with the service on this visit. more
