PROFESSIONAL YET PERSONABLE 2/1/2011

This is the first time using AIG and I am very pleased with the way Sandy and Norman handled my appraisal. Not only was it a timely appraisal, but besides being very professional they were both very personable. My confidence in their business stemmed from that. In addition, though not obligated to do so, norman offered me a bit of professional advice to a problem I was having with one of my jewelry pieces. It was much appreciated. I recommend AIG to anyone who takes their jewelry seriously and would prefer not to have to deal with a lot of nonsense that could occur elsewhere. more

While I Waited, Jewelry Appraisal 11/8/2010

I wanted to get insurance on my fiancée’s engagement ring. We spent a lot on it, so I wanted to get insurance to cover it. I got a referral from my Farmers Insurance Agent for American International Gemologists up in Thousand Oaks. My fiancée looked them up and said “they are near the mall, I am going with you”. So, we made an appointment, drove up (nice drive), and they did the appraisal in front of us while we waited, that was cool! more

Best Jewelry Appraiser in the Valley 1/31/2010

We bought the diamond for my engagement ring thru the internet on Blue Nile. The ring that I wanted was only available at the Ben Bridge jewelry store. The store needed about a week to set my diamond and size my new ring. They told me to call a local appraiser to have the ring appraised for insurance. \r \r They had me call Sande at American International Gemologists, the gemologists office was near the mall. I asked Sande for an appointment, I told her what day my ring would be ready and she made an appointment for me for that day. That would make it really easy for me to get this done. \r \r She called me the day before to confirm that the ring would be ready. I met her and the appraisers Norman and Amanda the next day. They did a very professional job, plus they explained everything that they did. I would recommend them for jewelry appraisals.? Pros: They did the appraisal while I watched more
