If i could give no stars I would! This was the worst experience we have ever had with American Furniture Warehouse. They have wasted SO much of my time now. My fiancee and I selected bedroom furniture online, went and checked it out in the store; we liked it there so we decided to purchase it. I was ready to have a delivery set up that week and have the furniture within the week, after all we are dropping a 1,000.00 + dollars on this furniture. But NO we had to wait 2 weeks JUST for it to be shipped to the warehouse and then an additional week for them to call to set up a delivery. When they got here the FIRST time everything seemed okay at first, they called us 30 minutes prior to being there and everything looked great, we signed away thinking everything was in good shape, they left, and no sooner did they leave the light hit a spot on the dresser just right and lone behold the dresser was warped, lovely right? Well then we begin to closely examine the chest and notice a huge scratch on the side and the legs were chipped. Not to mention this furniture has a glossy finish so it is hard to see all the imperfections with the lighting in one spot. So we called them again to swap out the furniture and this lady made us again WASTE more time, taking photos of the furniture and letting her view the damage. Well she promised she would get back to us the next day and for whatever reason she was not able to open the photos on her computer so we resent them the next day. After a day of waiting all day Saturday, we never heard from her! Well apparently she was off, so again still awaiting to put my clothes back in the dressers was quite annoying. She finally contacted us Sunday to tell us they will replace it and call later to set up a delivery... again still waiting!! She finally called us on Tuesday evening to tell us they will be here today Wednesday between 1:30 and 4:30. Well I kept looking at my phone for a 30 minute curiosity call and got nothing. 3pm rolls around and the door bell rings, who is at the door but the delivery guys.... whats he say when the door opens, sorry i FORGOT to call, really you forgot to call?! So that just started everything on the wrong foot... when they came in to look at the furniture they were taking back they looked at it took it upstairs and swapped it out, easy as pie right? ummm no how about not! Well the other dresser they decided to swap out was just as damaged the one of the draws being jammed shut... like will not open without all your force and the chest wasn't any better the second time either. So the guys told us that there is nothing more they could do and we would have to take it up with customer service and they left us knowing that we had damaged furniture. I mean where is the customer service? So more waste of my time I got on the phone with customer service to let them have it. They told me that they would have to come back out to pick it all up, well again you are wasting more of my time making me wait for your guys to finish their delivery route and make me still go back to the warehouse to refund my card. How much worst can it get? So now I waited 2 more hours for them to come pick it up and get it out of here and still the driver rude as ever but his little helper actually apologized, but he only apologized when he hit the mirror on my fan, the second time on the third trip and now we need to wait 3-5 business days for our card to be credited. This was an awful experience and I am baffled right now about how rude and inconsiderate this experience was a waste of my time. First don't bring damage furniture to my house the first time, second don't be rude, third don't make me wait around all week when i should be a priority when i was given damaged furniture the first time!! So three trips later still no new bedroom furniture and now I have no where to put my clothes.
