Just moved here from Washington and needed a house full of furniture.Told our salesman we'd pay in cash and that we'd order all up front but didn't want the upstairs furniture until the remodel was complete. Asked him to allow us to shop and make the list and promised to find him once we were ready. He was hiding behind artificial tree's and armoise' spying on us. Told him that was creepy and if he didnt stop, he'd lose out on the sale. We had been listing our items and locations as we shopped. We hadnt even completed the downstairs and were already well over $30,000. At the quality & price points they carry, thats a very large sale for this outfit! Finally, we complete our list (he continued to stalk us but at least stayed about 10 feet away). We had the upstairs listed seperately. The total for both combined was about $64,000. My husband asked for cash discounts along with free delivery on the upstairs furniture that we didnt need for a few more weeks. He acted as if we were insane to request a discount! He was rude and snippy when I asked to speak with his manager. The manager was even worse! We decided to leave. The manager and salesman actually ran after us as we were pulling out of the lot! He begged us to come back and gave us the discounts (big deal, sales tax and the 2nd delivery for free. So whats my problem since I got what I wanted? They switched out about half the furniture for floor models &/or cheaper models. For instance, my dining room chairs were what I ordered but the table was a cheaper and scratched piece of crap! My sofa had stains and was faded in areas that they had obviously tried to clean. When I went in to complain I noticed that when he pulled up my order on his computer, the items that had shown up first on my invoice were now listed at the bottom of the list. I asked him to print it so I could compare to mine. I told the manager that if he didnt pick it all up and give me ALL my money back I'd contact the BBB & Atty general. He agreed. Dont trust them! Dont ever buy from these crooks!!
