I had an accident in January. I had a stop sign, looked both ways, saw no cars and then proceeded into the intersection. About half way through the intersection another car sideswiped me hard enough to tear off my bumper and shift the frame. There was no police report. Since the car that sideswiped me had no stop sign I was charged with the accident per the insurance company. When asked how I should have known there would be a car coming when I was halfway through the intersection. I was told I would still be charged with the accient.\r
I called Christine to tell her that I would be going to Macco and that they had a rental car company. She said OK everything would be set.\r
When I arrived at Macco, Jeff said the adjuster would first be there tomorrow but that everything was OK. I was later contacted by Jason who stated I was renting a car over the $20 limit. I told him I was told by Jeff that everything was ok if I had known this was not correct I would not have used Budget. He hung up on me. I then contacted Jeff who said I needed to talk with Mohamed at Budget. Mohamed said that he needed to have American Family call him and they would work out the details. \r
I received a letter from Budget in April stating that they were charging my card for the additional amount of $162.13. I now have overdraft charges of $210 on the card because I only had $400 put on my card as I do not have the monies for additional amounts.\r
I once again contact Christine McGan, of course I got her voicemail and told her to contact Buget as Mohamed said he would work with them. I also contacted Jeff at Macco and stated that Budget, Macco and American Family have worked together before and have not had this problem.\r
While writing this review Christine McGan called and proceeded to stated whe would not call Budget as she will not pay more than $20. I told her Mohamed said he would be willing to work with American family. She finally said she would call Budget. I told her it was about time. She hung up on me.\r
