I used American Choice Van Lines for a recent San Francisco to San Francisco move, and was truly impressed. I select this company, because hey had a lot of good reviews. The crew was on time, worked extremely hard and efficiently, was careful both with my belongings and with the destination apartment, (which had new hardwood floor and paint). They adapted without complaint or loss of enthusiasm or good humor to somewhat trying circumstances (ramps to basements at both locations, contractors still working in the destination apartment), and made what could have been a very harrowing experience a quite manageable one. Quote was accurate, prices moderate, and service at all times was courteous, professional and responsive, both from the office and on the ground. I couldn't recommend them more highly. American Choice Van Lines was really gave great service to my family, their great service started with the crew they sent us, which included 3 great movers. We moved within Oakland. They moved our furniture and boxes which we had already packed but they were very heavy boxes so I was really amazed that they had the ability to carry them one person at a time. Our furniture was wrapped in blankets to keep them from getting scratched. They also treated our children and pets (we have one dog and two cats) with a lot of patience and understanding; our dogs couldn?t get enough of the movers. Once everything was loaded into the trucks it didn?t take long before we arrived to our location. The only real difficulty the movers had was getting our dining room table through the door so they had to disassemble it in order to get it through. Once the table was in they put it back together and also set up our furniture. Honestly I was impressed by the patience these guys had they really knew what they were they doing. Everything came out the way we wanted it to and even better because we couldn?t have done it on our own. We?ve already recommended many of our friends to you and we?ll keep recommending them. My family used American Choice Van Lines twice in the last 2 years during construction of our new home. They were great. Ask for Anton?s crew - we were lucky to get them twice. They are very hard workers, do not complain, take directions very well and are very careful while packing, loading and unloading. They went the extra mile including extra stops (both times) to our storage unit to drop off and pick up specific items. They even picked up wardrobe boxes that were re-usable 3 days after the move and credited my card for the corresponding amount! The overall price was right within the range of the quote... more

I moved with American Choice Van Lines and I've never had such a great experience with movers. From the scheduling and confirmation emails/phone calls to the actual move itself these guys were great. They arrived 10 minutes early so they could be sure to get a good parking spot on the block. Everyone worked hard -- they took apart furniture and put it back together for us. Nothing was damaged. The whole experience from start to finish was smooth ? they came over to assess my move, gave a price in writing (and it didn?t change on me!!!) , the moving team was terrific! I had a great relocation with American Choice Van Lines. There are two reasons why I picked American Choice for my move. They were refereed to me by my friend and their pricing was about a $300.00 less than the other moving companies I had received quotes from. When I first called for my move I had received full information, all answers on my questions on the telephone. They had explained to me that they could pack my breakables for an extra charge. Also I was informed that if anything was broken during my move they will repair it or replace it if necessary. I was also explained how their pricing plan had worked. It depended on the size of my move, distance, and any special handling needs. I had chosen to have my things packed, so the day before my move three very professional movers had came and packed all of my breakables such as china, pictures glass from curio, lamp shades, glass figurines, and wrapped my couches so they would not get ruined during the move. They brought a wardrobe box that made it easy for me to put my clothing in on the hangers. They impressed me because of how quick they moved all of my belongings and didn't break or scratch anything. Also the furniture they needed to take apart they put back together at the end of the move. Now that's what I call honesty. I was so impressed with the way this company worked and with their promptness; I would definitely use them again. Also the employees that I encountered with were all respectful, courteous. more

I moved with American Choice Van Lines and just wanted to leave a positive review, thank to Gordon I was able to get in to my place on time after the company I reserved a move with did not show up, the move was quick and efficient and they even helped me to pack a few things I didn't get into after having to deal with the cancellation. American Choice?s quality movers were polite and clean, they helped me with this overwhelming process and didn't use me, knowing my situation and the fact I was stuck with no movers and a need to move immediately. American Choice Van Lines moved our 3 bedroom apartment + storage space into a new 3 BR house. We moved from Fremont to Seattle.They boxed up and packaged any loose articles that we had not packed, and moved all our stuff in 3 days. They required EVERYTHING to be boxed - which we knew ahead of time - so we boxed 80% of our stuff before they arrived. We paid extra 377$ for packing some fragile items, Plasma TV 42 an my dishes. We were once again very satisfied - 2 items were slightly damaged, but overall, everything else was in the same condition after the move as it was before the move. My friend highly recommended American Choice Van Lines, so I chose them for my recent move from San Jose to Baltimore, MD. I have previously used large moving companies and every time something was damaged and the furniture arrived with a serious delay. My experience with American Choice Van Lines was drastically different. Not a single thing got damaged or lost and they picked up my stuff on time and delivered it at the promised time. I want to describe my experience with American Choice Van Lines as being a really pleasant one. I moved with them last week. The movers: Anton, Thomas and Sam were very polite, carefull and efficient. Gordon, the sales person, pays attention to details and will help your move go smoothly. They all worked as a team to accomplish a job that took less than a day to complete. My last move took about twice as long and cost twice as much as a result. Not one item was damaged and that was the most important thing to me. They took the extra care by wrapping all my furniture and making sure that everything it's safe. My move was successful, and the 3 young men had working yesterday were professional, efficient, extremely hard working, pleasant and really took the stress out of the day. They didn't stop for breaks (although we offered refreshments), were up and down stairs for hours, and at one point where we didn't think one of the sofas could not fit upstairs, they found a solution to the problem and moved sofa through the huge patio door-window in living room . Let me tell you my story from the beginning, American Choice Van Lines was a pleasure to work with. I was nervous about having to spend so much on moving, but after the horror stories we'd heard, we figured in-home estimate and binding quote was our best shot. And the people at American Choice were really attentive and professional - they pride themselves on treating their customers right. That may sound like just a slogan, but in this case, it certainly seems to be true(THE BETTER CHOICE TO MOVE). There were no hidden costs, no sudden ""adjustments"" to the estimate, and the team that moved our stuff was EXCELLENT, again BINDING QUOTE AND IN HOME ESTIMATE WAS MADE BY AMERICAN CHOICE VAN LINES WORKERS! Anton and his crew were really the best - prompt, quick, careful and friendly. We were done moving all our stuff by about 2PM - a MIRACLE! True, we had most things packed, but they handled everything that needed extra care; the guys even moved all my plants with nary a leaf disturbed. All our boxes and trunks and shelves and furniture. I went with American Choice Van Lines after hearing good things from a friend of mine from work. The crew showed up 1hr. late, traffics, I understand. They were fun to be around & more importantly they were very good movers. No items were broken or scratched. They didn?t waste time & all around it was a very easy move for me. Also as a side note, they did get a parking ticket in which I saw & when I asked if I would have to pay for it, they said no that it was their ticket not mine.
