I started care with American Chiropractic two years ago and have gotten significant relief from chronic pain in my lower back. I also have fewer headaches and other health problems. The staff is very friendly and caring, and they are always able to help you. They take my insurance, which was a benefit. I have recommended them to several co-workers who also have experienced great relief. more

As a pre-med student, I have met and shadowed under a number of different practices. I was very unfamiliar with Chiropractics. I must say that I am very impressed with the ailments one can overcome by going to a chiropractor. What makes it even better is that the staff at American Chiropractic is very knowledgable and passionate about what they do. They strive to educate all their patients about the body and how to keep it in top shape which I respect greatly. Also, the doctors and nurses are friendly and always on top of things. The doctors and staff at American Chiropractic are amazing! They have done so much to ensure that me and my 17 month old daugther are healthy after our serious car accident. The staff are wonderful and always take care of my daughter to allow me to get the treatment that I need. I feel very comfortable letting the doctors adjust my daugther and she has been so much healthier since we started going. I would highly recommed these doctors! I have been going to the one on Dixie Highway for several months now. I went in because I have had back discomforts for 2 years or so. I saw them at the University of Louisville Health Fair and i got a free visit. So I went in and they did the X-rays and preliminary tests and all the staff was very friendly and personable. The chiropractors are very experienced (apparently a chiropractor needs to do about 200 adjustments under the supervision of an experienced chiropractor on top of years of schooling before getting their degree...at least Dr. Page had to). They are friendly and patient and they make you feel comfortable and they talk you through the adjustment. Also, it sounds like they genuinely care about the patient's health. So far the adjustments have allowed me to improve my posture significantly and there has been much less discomfort in my back compared to the first time I went in. and of course massages....always a bonus. the business is very fair to students as well. I am a student and with insurance they only charge $20 per visit which is more than reasonable for a college kid such as myself. Pros: Great staff, proficiency, and of course massages more

My family and I have been patients for a little over a year. I feel that we've received great service. My kids have shown tremendous improvement in their alignment, and my husband and I both feel better after our adjustments, no doubt about it. Dr Jacques explained the MUA treaments to me and the care I would need after the MUA. My wife and I have been patients for a while and love the Doctors, Staff and the feeling of this office. We have tried chiropractic elsewhere and found this office to be the best. The staff is courteous and kind, the wait time is just right (so you feel like you have been properly cared for but not much wait) and these doctors are the only ones that have helped both of us with our headaches. The adjustment skill is fantastic. We also like that they have more than one doctor available to care for you, so you feel like you have a second opinion in one office and extra professional advice, kind of like a team to address your health concerns and not just one doctor (although you can have just one doctor caring for you only at your request). The office staff is very nice. The wait is usually short. However, in three and a half years, my family has seen no less than 6 chiropractors in the Bardstown Rd. office. Often, these are new chiropractors, fresh out of school. Sometimes the adjustments are great, sometimes not so good. One never knows what (or whom) to expect in regard to an adjustment. On two separate occasions, I got a headache after being adjusted by a particular (new) chiropractor. (Headache prevention is the reason I go to the chiropractor--ironic, isn't it?) There is a production line quality to this place. In other words, no real individual attention - for example, all patients are given the same exact exercises. The highly recommended review above was given by the doctor who works there. This says something about the integrity of the place. more
