Warning Stay Away from American Auto Group 12/13/2011

Horrible Business and very rude. I bought a 2006 Chevy Cobalt from American Auto Group in Maple Shades, NJ. In the contract for the car that I bought from them. They were suppose to fix the brakes, Service Air Bag light that was on and replace the car battery. They did not do any of that and gave me the run around. I paid $7,200 for the car and that was the sticker price for the car and I had to pay $795 to get the car fix myself cause they lied to me and told me they fix the car when they did not. They did the same thing to someone I work with when they bought a car from them. American Auto Group has been report to the Better Business Bureau for ripoffs and scams and fraud. I wish I researched their business before I went their and bought a car from them. Warning do not trust American Auto Group. American Auto Group is a ripoff and a scam. American Auto Group sells unsafe cars and been report to the better business bureau about it. more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ""DEALERSHIP"" 7/21/2011

Absolutely the worst car buying experience I have ever had! I took my 17 year old son here for his first car. The 2005 Nissan Sentra looked nice from the outside, we drove it and liked it , so we purchased it. After about a week, a major oil leak, among other problems. They have a so called mechanic on duty named Pops, who knows nothing about cars who berated my son. After bringing the car in several times without having the car repaired,we had to leave the car for three days. No phone calls about the status, and no one returned our calls. Finally we were able to find out what was going on. ""Pops"" tells us he could not work on the car because it was too hot out, and every other word out of his mouth was profanity. The owners did nothing except threaten us with physical violence. Car was never repaired, we had to take it to a Nissan dealership, cost us $700 to repair after one week after buying the car.Extremely arrogant and unproffesional owners, too say the least! more
