This shop is not much to look at but the work and the prices are reasonable. If you want looks over a quality repair, go to a dealer and pay double or more for the work.

Another shop told me I had major electrical problems when my car wouldn't start. A friend recommended American Auto Care for a second opinion. It turns out I only had a bad ground cable which was quickly repaired at a reasonable price!! Thank God they are honest!\r more

All I need 5/30/2012

Straight up the best service I have received for my vehicle. Oil change was done quick. They inspected the vehicle and came back with a report of everything my car needed. I got some things done and I am coming back for the rest. more

Refreshing! they have serviced my cars for 10 years now and have always honored their estimates and given quality repair service. Straight forward in his appraisals of automotive problems. Not a ""blower of smoke"" like so many dishonest dealers.A well run business. more

My band's van broke down and we were stranded. They saved us! The owner went out of his way to stay late and help us and not only that was completely honest and affordable. What a rare treat in a horrible situation. more

This place seems to have improved quite a bit since the last time I was here a few years ago. The guy at the counter seemed pretty knowledgeable--explained things well--and not trying to rip me off or giving me a hard sell on additional repairs. The technician also caught that my parking lights were burnt out. They were pleasant, courteous, professional, followed up to let me know when they were done. Very pleased with my experience. One of the additional repairs they quoted me was cost-competitive; the other less so. I'll be coming back in any case more

Great job 4/9/2012

I only intended to have a quick oil change here and asked if they could also install my brake pads and rotors. I had all the wrong parts, but the guys came up with the correct ones within an hour and had my car all ready to go within 2. The price was very reasonable especially considering the level of service I received. They did a great job and were friendly and knowledgeable. I would refer them to others and of course return again for my auto service. more

Honest Mechanic 3/13/2012

I knew I had found an honest mechanic. I've since sent others there and the guys not only fix the car, they also explain to you what it is they've done and show you on your car -- with pride. It's like walking into some sort of weird Twilight Zone where mechanics undercharge and over-care. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. more
