I was searching for a auctioneer to sell my store after I lost my lease. They came and represented themselves a experts and they estimated what i would get for my merchandise. They also told us verbally about their fees and structures, made us sign some paperwork with pages of fine type, we signed up with them. When the auction began we realized that they did nothing to get the most for our merchandise. They just sold it quick and at any price just to move on. It seemed like they just wanted to get thru the auction and on to their next auction without even caring about the actual price that the merchandise should get in a real world. After the auction, when they collected the cash from the customers, they were rude to us and then they added extra fees which we never agreed on. Since they had the money in their pockets , they controlled everything. We ended up getting shafted and we had no recourse. They went from nice folds prior the auction to nasty people once they had the cash from the customers. I recommend you go to other more reputable auctioneers if you are planning to sell your business or store. STAY AWAY FROM AMERICAN AUCTIONEERS, THEY ARE THE WORST AUCTIONEERS ANYWHERE. After getting screwed from these people, I found out that they have hurt many other businesses in the past.
